We stayed here for one night we enjoyed it so much we extended for another night. The host is a very sweet & warm person. He is an interesting man and keeps his home and the guest apartments very clean so much so I was impressed at how neat and well thought out the spaces were. They smelled very fresh as did the bed linens and towels 🙂 We stayed in the budget room equipped with two huge beds, fluffy pillows a fan, great shower with hot water & huge kitchen with a fridge. This was so needed and appreciated after spending the whole day exploring waterfalls and trekking through the stunning scenery that surrounds this homestay. The host has a beautiful garden with tropical flowers and spaces for guests to sit and enjoy the garden also you can enjoy the many authentic & delicious breakfast, lunches & dinners the host will provide at a very reasonable cost. He truly takes the hassle out of everything for you and will go miles out of his way for you. We felt very safe and extremely cared for here. There are gates with locks on for your scooter and your own private access to the building. This homestay is in one of the most beautiful and historical regions in Sri Lanka. Since there was a kitchen, I wanted to use it. The refrigerator was dirty and had a bad smell, I had to wash it. There were also no utensils for washing dishes, a dirty cutting board and knife. But I simply threw it all away, and it became nice) The house in general cannot be called ideal clean. But there are three floors, and perhaps this is not the case everywhere.

Very nice owner. Nice place. The house has good water pressure and good mobile internet. There is a microwave, refrigerator, rice cooker and washing machine. Overall a pretty good place

Excellent Stay at Cottage Home, Belihuloya Cottage Home in Belihuloya exceeded all expectations. The facilities were impeccable, the location serene, and the owner incredibly accommodating. The cozy cottage was spotless, providing a perfect retreat amidst nature. Highly recommended for a peaceful getaway.

Great location close to many different hiking trails. You can get a bus easily to and from the property. There is hot water with good pressure. Comfortable mattress. Kitchen equipment, such as electrical kettle and rice cooker. The owner was very helpful and was at our disposal at any time

This place is great. Value for money. Very close to many attractive places. Specially Pahanthudawa Waterfall and samanela wewa Dam. This cottage includes everything to spend your vacation leasurly. Owner is very friendly. Highly recommended.

Handy, clean, calm and cool place. Superb handy small location to stay at belihuloya. Facilities were excellent and the space, wooh plenty of people can accommodate.

The location is quite bad. When you want to visit Horton plains, it’s better to stay in ella or nearby Haputale. There were ants, in the bathroom and living. The owner spay them next day, but it was many of them still everywhere.

The bathroom is not clean enough. Some of the furniture was covered with dust and there was garbage on it.

Very calm, cool environment. Value for the money and the owner was a very friendly, flexible person. The apartment was well prepared with furniture.
