no shower gel or shampoo provided. no second blanket to the second bed. offered fleece and our own sheet solved the problem. need something to swipe the bathroom floor after shower.

good big breakfast except taste of coffee. colibris. shortcut to centre 7 min by foot following the railroad. quiet area but in night monkeys run on the roof and fight. nice view from the balcony, good picture place from neighbours property to the waterfall. Bottled water was always available, owner super friendly and used twice his tuck-tuck to lift us to the centre. enough hot water. saw just 1 mosquito in April during 2 days

Cozy HomeStay at waterfall Ella + The apartment was amazing in the nature with a view to the waterfall. The owner ( senu ) and his family made our days amazing. Breakfast is homemade delicious variety of SriLankan breakfast with fruits. The room was clean and really big and the terace is a view to paradise. Many informatiin on activities, bike renting was easy with him . Definetelly the best we ever had. 100/10 Hope we can come back again.

we had a wonderful time at Senu's place ! The room was very big , the bed super comfortable , everything was clean and we had warm water and good wifi . The view from the balcony is amazing with waterfall . We saw so many nice animals . The breakfast was the best we had so far in Sri Lanka ! The family was very nice and friendly and helpful . We would definitely recommend staying here :)

We really enjoyed our stay. The tropical garden and view of the waterfall was just beautiful and the quiet lent itself to making a relaxing ambience. The breakfast and dinners we had were home cooked and excellent. This was the cleanest place we have had in Sri Lanka and the first place that had no mould in the shower! Such a lovely family too. Thanks Senu for your help. Nothing was too much trouble for him.

Location, a bit remote, but with a tuk tuk is ok. If you climb the stairs near the property and walk along the railway the centre of Ella is reachable in 7 minutes.

If I really had to choose something it would be a low water pressure in shower. But it did it's job so it didn't matter much.

The location is adoreble, having breakfast in front of the waterfall is really remarkable experience. As for food - delicious breakfast, so far the best I had in Sri Lanka. A little, but sufficient terrace allows you to chill, read books and relax with the sound of the waterfall. Moreover- the room was super clean, no bugs at all as well, the bed was comfortable.

Amazing location with direct view of the waterfall, which you can even hear across the valley. Family is so nice, great breakfast included, and we also enjoyed the delicious dinner we ordered. Patio with beautiful flowers and potted plants.

This was such a great homestay! Senu, the host, was so attentive, kind and extremely professional. The room is very comfortable and spotlessly clean. The views from this place are breathtaking! Waking up in the middle of the jungle with a beautiful waterfall view is just amazing. The included breakfast is one of the tastiest we've had. Also, the dinners were absolutely phenomenal, much better than any of the restaurants we've tried in the past 2,5 weeks! We highly recommend this place.

The water pressure was low. The Homestay isn‘t located close to the city and the road is bad. But the surroundings were nice, you could see a waterfall.

The Homestay was great! The room was nice and clean and the staff very nice. The owner even drove us at 05.30am to see the sunrise at little adam‘s peak. The breakfast was outstanding!

It is a little bit hard to get there by car, but the host is really nice, and he has a tuktuk to pick you up from the city. But in overall, we really liked the place. (We spent one night.)

This is the best guesthouse I stayed in this trip. The room is big and very clean. The owners are very friendly and helpful with my questions. There’s a shortcut from the guesthouse to the main street via the railway tracks which makes it an interesting and enjoyable walk. There is also a balcony right outside the room where I can sit and chill and enjoy the view.

Senu, our host was so attentive, friendly and helpful. The views from the breakfast table, amazing. The whole place was clean and the garden full of flowers. The curries were first class and varied. Wish we could have stayed longer.

This didn’t bother us at all, but just a note: there was no shower gel/shampoo/hand towel in the bathroom but a bar of soap was provided.

Incredible views from the room and terrace! Spacious, cosy room with a kettle provided and hot water in the shower. The service was outstanding - the host communicated effectively and even gave us a free lift to the train station. The food was delicious and the servings were very generous. We even stayed at fancier hotels such as Marino Beach in Colombo and the duvet/comforter was more comfortable here and the service was better too. The room was also extremely clean, much cleaner than anywhere else we stayed in Sri Lanka. We couldn’t believe the amazing quality of this place for the price!
