Very high to climb up to the hill with luggage. Better to catch the tuk-tuk.

It was the most comfortable our stay in Sri Lanka. Room with panoramic view to the Kandy from the top of the hill. The room was big, clean and light. It has the best shower system and the biggest bathroom, we met during our trip. The strong flow of hot water after all day trip and rather hard climbing to the hill is the best thing in the world :) Big bed with comfortable mattress and clean, good smelling bed sheets. Comfortable AC accommodation - you can sleep with AC turned on. Is was the only place during our stay without included breakfast, but it was not a problem as we left early morning. But you can order the breakfast for incremental price if needed. Very good and hospitable house owner. Will be glad to stay in this place longer, if return to Kandy again.

It was a bit complicated to find and it was hard to bring the luggage down, as the way is rather steep. But that often is the case in Sri Lanka, so it is nothing unusual.

Jaye was a great host and very eager to meet all our needs. The rooms were very modern, spacious and had western standards. The bed was very comfortable and bathroom was the best during our whole journey. It was really quite given the proximity to Kandy downtown.

Such a great accommodation with lovely and kind hosts. They welcomed us very warmly and offered tea on various times on the day, when we were sitting on the balcony. Very thoughtful! They also arranged a transfer to Sigiriya with a super nice driver for a reasonable price. The view was amazing! You can see the city and the big Buddha. Surprisingly, I saw two of the best sunsets ever there. The room was spacious and clean and the bathroom had a proper shower (even with doors, so you don’t flood the whole room while showering). Breakfast in the morning was also so delicious. So if you go to Kandy, definitely stay here!

The accommodation is nice and clean, it is close to the center. It is owned by a family and the host is really kind and helpful. We stayed in Kandy only for 1 night, so we had only breakfast there, but for us it was a good stay. Thank you!

room is wonderful and large, and it seems to be modern, and the bathroom is also very good. The view is wonderful. The place is close to the city, only 10 minutes walk. the only not good thing is that the house is stepd hill , especially if you have large or heavy bags like us. The owner he is really good man thnx to him 🙏

Jaye is a fantastic host who was always friendly, helpful and charming. We. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would return and recommend without hesitation. It is a short walk away from excellent restaurants (though we caught a £1.25 Tuk Tuk both ways) and has a lovely view of the sports ground and giant white Buddha on the hill opposite. The room looked as if it was brand new, the bed, shower, bathroom etc were excellent and we slept soundly both nights. Breakfast (we had the Sri Lankan was good value and set us up for the day. Thanks for everything.

Shower was not really hot/warm, but there was a heater so we think it would normally work better.

The house is 3 mins TukTuk the center and has amazing views over the hills of Kandy. Rooms very clean and good AC. Jay, the owner, is the loveliest person and has many years of experience hosting guests in Kandy. Breakfast was also very nice.

We stayed there only for a night, the place definitely met expectations. Clean rooms, very nice and helpful staff. It’s a bit of a walk from the center of Kandy (uphill) but that’s what you get for an amazing view from the balcony! Thank you for making our stay so enjoyable

Nothing really! Only a really crowded road to cross to the city centre. However it is still very close to get there. A bit over 10 mins by foot or not even 3 by TukTuk.

Great rooms, great bathroom, very nice and relaxing stay. Also the owner was really friendly and we could do our laundry here.
