Nice people nice place more than expectation

Nice big house converted into hostel. Aircon was great. Beds were really comfortable. The bathroom was nice and big and clean. The staff were really friendly. Could use the kitchen to cook up a good feed. Pretty easy to get too using buses or tuk tuk from the centre of Colombo.

The location is not central, it is in a quiet district.

The room was very clean, bathroom was very clean too. The room has air-conditioning and fan on the ceiling. The bed was comfortable. Also there is a kitchen downstairs. Ask the staff for directions how to find the place.

Culture Hub Back what is important about is there is a kitchen and you can get together with other travelers meanwhile cooking. Also there is a common area where you can socialise and talk. Good location, very friendly owner who speaks good English.

Far away from the city center

Here is a cozy atmosphere and everything for living and cooking - there is a comfortable bed in the room, a towel in the bathroom and a clean shower, in the kitchen there are all stuff for cooking. There is also a nice veranda for evening relaxation. Thanks for the hospitality, I recommend this place :)

The place is really nice and comfy it has a very calm vibe the internet works perfectly, the host is super friendly, respectful and helpful knows a lot of Sri Lanka, its a safe place for solo female travellers the beds are nice the bathrooms are clean its all new I would highly recommend this place in Colombo worth value! thank you guys!

The staff was really nice and really helpful, I stayed here for 1 night and I spend a very good evening with them ! The emplacement is good and peaceful, the internet connection was good too and the bedroom is confortable. The commun space, bathrooms and bedroom are clean and well maintained. I'll come back next time for sure! Thank you guys!

The bed was extremely comfortable and the place was spacious and clean, with the vintage aesthetics it did feel homely. Having free wifi with the calm environment, helped me to shoot few emails too. I highly recommend this hostel for anyone visiting Colombo.

There is separate room with bathroom or dormitory. At the living room there is exit to cozy place outside, calm and warm, and if you are lucky - squirrels will come :) Beds are comfortable, toilets are new. Nice place for backpackers!

Challenging to find because of the lack of signs. Had to use the numbers and literal address to figure it out. No one answered my calls when I tried to call. No one responded to text. Eventually received a return call - was able to take my things to the dorm. FRONT DOOR DOES NOT LOCK AND DORM SOOR DOES NOT LOCK. Vacant and no one on the premises. Property was not well kept. Bathroom was dirty. Bed was clean and one other person was in the dorm - maybe a temporary live in. We had appointments during the day and meet up arranged. Returned in the evening and someone was there to collect the money. Paid and told him the bathroom was not clean - he said he just collects the money. Nice guy but didn’t care about the conditions at all. I went to try and find another place to stay - it was midnight by the time I found a place. Paid and didn’t even stay there. Asked the money collector for a refund or discount because I was obviously not staying there - he just smiled and said he’s not the owner. Worst experience in Sri Lanka.

The bed was clean so 1 star. The art was cool so another star. Would never recommend.
