TurkeyIt was breakfast included but not up to satisfaction at all. Generally the food was not looking very appealing, so we didn't have much in there yet whatever we ate we didn't like. Beach towels were not clean and in a bad condition so we used our own.
It is located in a nice place where you can see the sea from all angles. It is a big facility with a gym, spa, pool etc. but it was not cozy or the feeling of warmth of a place was missing (which we generally look for) Staff was very friendly, helpful It was clean overall but hard to maintain since it takes wind and salty water from all sides which shows.

LithuaniaThe resort is favored by a trip organizer from russia, so You should expect russians who just drink in the bar all day long and swear a lot. Tiles around the pool get extremely hot in the evening, and the water there becomes too hot
The resort is next to a very beautiful beach from one side, and a shallow beach from the other. There is a good pizzeria next to the resort on one of the beaches and a good restaurant with seafood and pasta on another

United KingdomWe stayed in one of the refurbished rooms. It was more than adequate, but even that was looking a bit tired in terms of fittings and bathroom. Fairly good facilities, but everything else is perfect.
Service really is exceptional. The staff look after your every need and nothing is too much to ask. We noticed a smell from a drain near our room and within minutes several staff arrived to fix it. The food is amazing and varied (go for the buffet, you won't be disappointed). And the views from the restaurant are second to none. The spa was great too.

Our stay at Dickwella Resort and Spa was the highlight of our visit to the south of Sri Lanka. The location, food, service, and staff were above and beyond our expectations. We made the choice of having breakfast and diner at the main restaurant during our whole stay and I would highly recommend the same to any guest. The food is some of the best anywhere in Sri Lanka, especially the fresh fish made in various ways. The staff made all the effort to make our stay as comfortable as possible. A big thank goes out to everyone at the reception, restaurant, pool, housekeeping and maintenance for their exceptional service. We look forward to our next stay with you.

Nice hotel and nice staff. The beach is not the best one because of the huge waves and unfortunately the water in the swimming pool was hot as in the jaccuzzi.

NepalThere was a misunderstanding at the captains deck wherein we were asked to shift table to cater to a different group. The restaurant head at that time (16th April) came across as biased. After much debate, he did make up for it but looked pretty pissed off every time we saw him then after. We gathered he had family or close friends visiting so it's ok.
I liked the location of the resort. On either side were beaches that had fairly milder waves for children to play. The pool was great for kids. The overall ambience of the place is fantastic. Many picture perfect places within the resort. From the reception desk to house keeping and the restaurant staff, everyone was cordial, helpful and friendly. The food was delicious. The only issue was the houseflies on everything that was kept uncovered during the breakfast spread. Great for families with young children!

PolandIn random order : towels were little dirty. The staff goes out of your way to make sure you don't steal bananas and other things from breakfast. I think this could be done in a little bit more kind way because it made us feel like there is scarcity or food hunger on the island. Especially when staff delivers such messages without a smile on their face - "you took a lot of bananas, we hope you won't take it away to your room". Breakfasts are ok, but nothing fancy. Of ten they will lack bananas, pancakes and other things. In our room - 07 - shower was very clogged and so was the sink . This should be checked periodically because it's unhygienic. There was a smell of mold downstairs and upstairs rooms were all taken. Wifi was very average. When you're in the restaurant bear in mind they will add a whoopig 33 percent of taxes, service charges and what not - this was honestly a little bit excessive in our opinion. Songs only last 30 second and move to another one - probably they're saving money here, but it creates a dizzy head. Gym is small and equipent not fully working. Additionally often they will close before 10p closing time. Water filters are really dirty, they probably didn't change filters there for years - we stuck to plastic bottles they deliver. Portions in the restaurant were small and there's many squirrels running around the restaurant so please don't leave your food when sitting outside.
Location is amazing. This has the potential to be one of the best resorts on the island due to location - if only they took it seriously.

IrelandLocation isn't great. To get to other bars etc you need to tuk tuk, or walk a busy road (but if you plan on staying by the pool for 2 weeks, then it's perfect). However, beers/food are resort prices and can be gotten much cheaper elsewhere.
Nice resort, but rooms and facilities are a little out dated. Breakfast was basic. Amazing views from the pool and beach. The staff were friendly and room was spotless. Also had live entertainment each evening.
