For a longer stay some more furniture like a nightstand could have been helpful

Location is super close to the beach which is highly recommended due to the heat. The bed was very big and comfortable. Mosquito net was also provided and the balcony with a washing line was helpful as well.

We had an amazing stay here!! The owners are so nice and friendly and very helpful! The room was generous and we had enough space for luggage etc. we loved our little patio. Shower was hot which was great and aircondition worked really well! Accommodation was located in a really good, quite and still central area, 5 minutes walk to the beach. I can really recommend staying here. :)

This was a great place to stay & location on a quiet small road between the main road & beautiful stretch of Mirissa beach. You are literally less than 5 minutes stroll from dipping your feet on the sea or surfing, or sitting in one of the many restaurant & cafe options on the main road. You can also jump on one of the frequent local buses to Weligama, Ahangama & Galle- all super easy & cheap. The rooms are spotlessly clean & spacious with very comfortable beds, air con and a fan, & with a kettle- we loved having a coffee on the large, shady balcony and then walking on the beach early morning to watch the surfers. It’s a quiet location too, so you’re all set up for a good nights sleep. The owners are gentle & welcoming, helping us out with laundry & transport. Thank you! For what you pay, this place is amazing. Highly recommend!

There was not anything not to like. The only let down was that there was not a fridge in the bedroom. Other than that, it was a clean location and ideally sited.

The location is perfect. Centrally based within walking distance to the beach (turn right) or (Left) for restaurants, money exchange and shopping areas. Everything you need is nearby. There are plenty of hotels on the same road if you fancied a change for dining, all greet you with a warm welcome whether you are staying with them or not.

We loved staying at the Dilara House. The owners made us feel very welcome and were so friendly! They helped us with renting a scooter and were always around for a little chat. The rooms are spacious and very clean. The balcony is a big plus. Location is perfect, close to everything you need. We recommend this place and would come back for sure!

Really lovely place and and really nice family owners. Perfect location for us, between the main street and the beach, walking distance to everything. We booked a room with two beds, was nice and spacious, with a big corner balcony and a rope to hang beach towel and swim costume.

Excellent value for money, perfect location with only a couple of minutes walk to the beach and in front of a bus stop to major cities. Big and clean rooms. Staff is very friendly, with good laundry service.

Excellent location just a few minutes walk from the main street (bus station close by) in a quiet area. Our room was clean, spacious, and well equipped with good water pressure and hot water and a comfortable bed. The owner is welcoming, friendly, and helpful. She let us do the checkout after the regular time upon our return from a whale watching excursion. We would stay here again!

We had a really really nice stay at Dilara Resort Mirissa. The room was clean, spacious and even had a nice balcony. The location was perfect, it only took us 5 minutes to the beach and less than 5 minutes to the main road where a lot of restaurants were located. The owners were super welcoming and we could even take a shower after we checked out! Thank you a lot for the wonderful stay!
