Great overall experience. By far the most well run place we stayed. Facilities room all worked well, were clean and looked after. Being able to have food on balcony is a great touch. Good selection of items on A la carte menu and well priced considering location and captive audience. Good few vegan options. They also let me bake a cake for my daughters birthday in their kitchen which was very much appreciated.

These were brilliant simple but modern rooms. Spacious with air conditioning. We had x2 triple rooms next to each other on the first floor so we had a wonderful veranda where we could look out to the trees. The grounds are beautiful with tropical plants and a stream. The pool is a nice size and seems new. The playground was a nice touch too. We stayed one night with a 5 and 7 year old, after doing a great safari at 3/6pm. We visited the elephant orphanage the next morning. You could stay x2 nights probably but one worked for us.

Beautiful grounds, very quiet and green with a bubbling river at the back of the property. Simple, clean rooms. Pristine pool. Good AC. Helpful staff - they arranged a safari jeep and tour for us at Udawalawe national park. There was a nice balcony off the rooms with fans. Nice breakfast.

Really nice and very new hotel close to the elephants safari. Clean and big pool with a nice playground. The food at the restaurant was very good. Highly recommended for families with small kids

Stayed here for one night before a morning safari which the hotel organised for us. Really clean hotel, big rooms, lovely pool area. Nice restaurant with very reasonable prices. Bring any supplies you need as there are no shops nearby. 100% recommend if you are considering this place.

The waiting time at dinner and lunch was very long. On one everning we had to wait almost one hour although it was not busy at all.

Very spacious pool, playpark and modern and clean rooms. The Sri Lankian breakfast was also very tasty (but you have to order it one day in advance)

The food on site was tasty but always served luke warm to cold. The breakfast was quite good, fruit good but the rest was poor quality. However the hotel is great.

Fantastic hotel, excellent location, lovely warm pool. Large stylish room. Good restaurant on site. Very close to Safari. 23,000 LKR for entrance and 8000 LKR for driver and truck for 2 people.

the family suite and the deluxe room are beautifully large rooms. Ideal for families with children. Perfect pool, kitchen and the whole area. An excellent start to the safari. The hotel is new and I highly recommend it

The room was clean but needs a good scrubbing. The sheets were clean but had stains. The wall near the kettle looks like it had been splashed with coffee and needs to be cleaned. The bathroom floor needed a good scrubbing.

The property is beautiful and nice to be able to swim. The room was very large and comfortable bed. A safari was arranged which was great. It was very quiet except for the small child screaming at dinner time but that was not the hotels fault.

My stay at Doola river edge was so relaxing and comfortable . It's very clean and quite new. Staff was really hospitable. There's a large area to wander around. Recommend specially for thse who'd like to enjoy a rustic environment. Pool was big and clean

Beautiful clean modern new boutique hotel- five star luxury ( at three star prices) with magnificent pool, restaurant food was the best we’ve had in Sri Lanka and the service from the manager Sanjaya was outstanding!
