Location can be a bit tricky, it was sometimes hard to get a tuktuk back since it's up in the hills, but it's worth the clean air and the quiet environment.

Oshan and his family are the nicest hosts, they were so welcoming and helped us book tours and transportation. The room was very clean and the view from the balcony is amazing.

Everything! Location, hosts, rooms, views and hot shower. Best place we have stayed in Sri Lanka. Even went back a second time because we loved it so much. The host family are so lovely and helpful - nothing is an issue and so welcoming. They helped organise transport and made it so simple. Best breakfast in Sri Lanka!! Couldn’t recommend enough.

Wow this place was perfect! Oshan and his family are so hospitable, friendly and he speaks very good English. The location is a short drive from town but Oshan was great at organising tuk tuks. The room was clean and spacious with a lovely bathroom. Delicious breakfast.

Nothing at all. Tip for anyone doing a city tour, avoid the Spice Gardens in Kandy and instead go to the National one just south of Matale if you are interested in that kind of thing and heading north to Dambulla/Sigirya

Oshan and his family were absolutely lovely. I messaged Oshan ahead of our stay and he helped coordinate a great itinerary, including a city tour, hike near knuckles conservation area and a trip to Pidurangala Rock and Dambulla temple. As others have said, the house is a tuktuk ride from central Kandy, but once you arrive you'll realise why that's a very good thing! A return trip was 1,000rps (c. £2.50) and we managed to have the same great driver each day - thanks Siril! Breakfast was delicious with a shout out to the coconut roti and the hoppers were the best we've had and inspired me to buy a hopper pan before returning to the UK to try and recreate them!

Wow we loved our stay here, what a lovely family. We had a delicious varied breakfast every morning and had tea and biscuits with the family when we arrived and had a great chat with them. Their English was perfect and they were really personable and warm. The rooms were clean and spacious and comfortable but the best thing was how light they were, with lovely balconies and views. Wish everywhere could be like this.

We loved everything :)!

We loved our stay with Oshan and his family. They were so welcoming and friendly and made us feel so comfortable. The room was wonderful and spacious. It was clean and the balcony was big and beautifully overlooking the trees and hills of Kandy. We had a really nice rest here and loved the fact that the place was a little away from downtown Kandy. Oshan arranged a tuk-tuk for us to Kandy town and also for ongoing travel. The breakfast was delicious and we had a nice selection of food. Thanks for hosting us!

It was the nicest stay during our journey to Sri Lanka. The accommodation is perfect but the atmosphere is what it makes unforgettable. Oshan and his family is very kind and helpful. Facilities are super clean, modern and inviting especially compared to other properties in Sri Lanka around this price. The bed was comfy with really soft clean sheets. The balcony has a beautiful outlook and is really peaceful which is a comparison from Kandy! Oshan and his family are so lovely and welcoming, they have a beautiful home and put us at ease by inviting us for a cup of tea and biscuits with them on arrival - which was needed after a long bus ride! Their service was exceptional, breakfast was delicious- the best hoppers we have had here! They never felt overbearing but were always on hand to help. Oshan also arranged tuk tuk drivers and gave us great tips about prices. Highly recommended vito woodfire pizza in Kandy if you are craving some western food.

The room was clean and spacious, with a beautiful view over the surrounding hills. It was also very well equipped. The host is very kind and respectful, we had a warm welcome from the whole family who served us with a cup of tea. The host is also very responsive to all the guests needs. The breakfast was plentiful and very tasty, made of local fruits and a combination of continental and traditional Sri Lankan meals.

There's nothing we could complain about, 100% happy!

Oshan and his family are the best hosts we had on our 1 month journey through Sri Lanka. They are the kindest people you can meet. Very supportive and great to talk with and learn more about sri lankan culture. If you come to Kandy, definitely stay here as it's absolutely great! We spent 3 nights here and were sad we couldn't extend du to our plans going back to colombo. Rooms are spacious ans very clean, great bathroom with hot water and good water pressure and the breakfast is absolutely outstanding.

Our stay was too short 😁

We enjoyed our 2 days stay in this place. It is surrounded by beautiful nature, you can hear birds singing in the morning, enjoy amazing views of the mountains and peak of the trees, and it is located not that far from the city, we walked. The owners are very friendly and so nice family, they greeted us with tasty tea, cookies, we had delicious breakfast. The room is spacious and very clean and we also had a fridge in the room, that is very comfortable. Thank you! We hope to come back.
