Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):

Sri LankaOnly 2 of 3 rooms are Air condition. You will be charged for electricity seperatly if you use A/C. However it was not informed in advanced or no any terms like that in booking page.
One of ths best place i stayed durring the tour. Staffs are very helpfull and pleasing smiles. Definitely i can recommend to anyone. Close to town and supermarkets. Seld cooking is excellent. Parking is not there but manageable in by roads. Nice rooftop for BBQ or casual chat.

We had a very enjoyable and comfortable stay at Edwin Villa. Vinoth, Shiranee and her husband were so helpful with everything, from booking the villa to checking in/ out. The villa was very clean, spacious and fully self-contained with big bedrooms, good quality linen and towels, washing machine and fully equipped and kitchen. Shiranee and her husband had thought of every little detail to make our stay comforable at the villa.There was also secure parking for our vehicle. The location was central with easy access to Trinco main beach and a short drive to other beaches like Nilaveli and Marble Beach. We highly recommend Edwin Villa for a comfortable self-contained stay in Trinco. Many thanks for your hospitality Vinoth, Shiranee and family :-)

Sri LankaVinoth was exceptionally friendly and helpful. The villa was comfortable and had everything we needed. Will definitely stay there again. The beaches were relatively close by and town is easily accessible. Highly recommended. Parking was not an issue although we had to park outside the property.

Sri LankaThe description of the property stated that its airconditioned with 2 bedrooms. However, there were three rooms downstairs. Two rooms had two double beds and one room had one double bed. So in total it could taccommodate 10 people. However, only one room had the AC. This should have been clearly indicated in the description of the propertt so we would have set the expectations of the guests right. The two non AC rooms ( one with two double beds and the one with one double bed ) were stuffy becuase the windows and doors had to be kept closed due to mosquitos outside. I'd recommend the hosts to air condition the other two bedrooms becuase Trincomalee is a hot city..if not, at least update the description of the property correctly so guests looking at the property will know exactly what they are getting.
Close to a few restauranta and take away food shops. Also walking distance to a large supermarket.
