A great place to stay, in a quiet area, just surrounded by nature, but only ca. 2,5km away from town. The host is very welcoming and helpful. There are 3 very unique accommodations, that he built by his own. Everything very clean and made with many nice details. The stay in the treehouse was amazing - sth very special, with cosy atmosphere and open air bathroom. Recommended especially for people who love nature and little adventure. There is a mosquito net, but I didn't use - sleeping with open door to the small terrace was like camping in the top of the tree, nice and shady. But remember, that in a tree, there are living other little animals, too... so those, who are scared of that should better stay on the ground :-). The other accommodations have hammocks and are also very cosy. Homemade food, served in an open air kitchen, there you can even watch cooking! I really enjoyed my stay and would highly recommend this place!

This has to be the most enjoyable stay I’ve ever had, and I’ve traveled a fair bit. that place is very good doin to yoga. It’s often hard to tell when the locals wishes to help you and when they do it for their own gain, but we quickly learned that Madawa only had our best interests at heart. No matter what we asked for he did everything in his power to get it done. This is the perfect place to start your trip and Madawa will give you advice on where to go, what to do and even call his friends all over the country to help you. He runs this little paradise with his parents, which were lovely, and his mom made us some fantastic food as well! They even have good Wi-Fi believe it or not. I’d recommend spending 2 nights here to anyone. 10/10

The bed was comfortable, the showers had , the food was delish and the ladies who own and run this place are the sweetest and most incredible. he was our Sri Lankan friend and took such good care of us. Amazing food and great recommendations! You can just tell how much love and passion they have put into everything. Wish we could have stayed longer.

    · The place is located in the suburbs of Sigiriya, only 10 10-minute walk Pidurangala entrance. This makes it the perfect location for the hike to a sunrise view of the Lion's rock. The place is nice, clean, and quiet. The owner is amazingly nice and helpful and our stay was memorable because of the owner

Madawa and his family are amazing hosts, the Tree House are the best and most comfortable I've stayed at in any guesthouse in Sri Lanka. He is a source of knowledge about buses and the local area. The safari was very reasonable and he was a very good driver and very respectful of the animals, whilst always getting me the best view. Breakfast was delicious every morning. The location is far enough from town to be quiet, but not far enough to walk to every day.

the house is very well located, a few minutes drive from the main road and Sigirya rock. In a very quiet alley where you can only birds and animal sounds (a few Tuktuk passing by but nothing disturbing!). Madawa and his family were very kind and helpful. they shared their family home with open arms. they made us dinner twice and it was delicious! we discovered new curries that you won’t find in restaurants and breakfast was generous and delicious! the house is very clean and there is hot water for the shower!

The hosts were so lovely! They made sure we were well fed and invited us to share dinner with them each night - based off of the delicious breakfast, not finding the time to so was one of our regrets! On our final day, we left early to hike Pidurangula rock and they were so kind to make us up a packed lunch instead of breakfast to take with us afterwards.

What a gem! We booked the accommodation 2 days before our stay based on previous reviews. The location is outstanding, fantastic view of the Lake and surroundings. The rooms were immaculate and the hosts were outstanding. They arranged a 5.30am trip, with guide and water, to climb the Pidurangala Rock to see the sunrise. The breakfast and dinner was exceptional Sri Lankan fair and we were lucky enough to experience the Sri Lankan cookery lessons. What an amazing family. Can’t recommend highly enough.

Our stay was amazing! We loved the tree house. The place is very piece calm and quiet, surrounded by the beautiful nature. Perfect for relaxing after very intensive days. The homemade food was delicious, and our host was giving us amazing and honest tips and advices whenever we asked. He also arranged the trip to Polonnaruwa with his tuk tuk for us, which was a great trip. He also took us to another places in the area, and the prices were very reasonable. He arranged the laundry service for us as well. You can tell that he’s doing everything for the guests to feel comfortable!

    · The location is superb. Easy travel to the Lion Rock, Pidurangela, elephant safari, Polonnaruwa, Dambulla Caves. The host, Madawa, is very accommodating, and he and his family are lovely. Don't miss a dinner at the treehouse - delicious food served beautifully. An easy walk to the local restaurants. Madawa offers trips to the various sights. For the Jeep safari, we chose Eco Park. It was great. Maeawa was knowledgeable about the elephants, birds, etc.

Liked · Lovely place to stay. A tree house oriented at the traditional sri Lankan tree houses that let's you immerse into nature. You feel the nature, temperature and you can hear and almost feel the jungle... The host and his family are a shining example for hospitality and try to help with everything and beyond. Each recommendation they made was amazing! The safari to see the elephants, climbing the mountain to view lion rock at sunrise, the city safari that taught us how to cook sri lankan style. Amazing stay!
