It's a bit of a walk up and down the hills so will need to scooter or tuk tuk to get into town, however the hotel is worth it for the views!

Great views. The staff are very helpful and friendly- helping us arrange for drivers/scooters. Breakfast was delicious.

Needs a little TLC could be a fantastic hotel, but need to sort out some of the niggles, 💡missing Broken windows (fixed with tape when requested) Chairs outside old and brittle

The view from our room was amazing, we could see the sunrise and set over the mountains and forest. The breakfast had an array of options, both local and foreign. Easy to get a tuk tuk into the centre for a good price

We struggled to have a hot shower for most of the stay, and then on one night we needed to change rooms due to a power outage/no lights which wasn't so ideal.

Gorgeous view when you wake up looking over the waterfall. Breakfast was super yummy and we both appreciated being able to enjoy authentic Sri Lanken food for breakfast. Access to the Ella Rock path was super convenient from the accomodation too. The staff were all super sweet and friendly and always tried their hardest to accommodate any and all needs

So the property is somewhere between a hill and a valley. Having said that you have to climb up and down quite a few times. However, they have tuk services and front desk staff helped us to get our bags up and down. It was not an inconvenience to us. Yet something to think about if you’re someone with health issues.

View from the room is amazing with spectacular kithal Ella. Staff is great and very helpful. Specially the two guys at front desk gave us ideas on where to go and what activities to choose etc. Rooms are comfortable. Distance to the city center/ town is like 10 minutes in a Tuk. Place is relatively close to all relevant sightseeing areas. They have a simple yet fulfilling breakfast available.

The facilities were not very clean and the last part of the road to the location is rather steep and in poor condition, so vans tend to avoid it (however, hosts are really kind and help with their tuktuk to transfer the luggage).

The hotel is not in its best shape outside the rooms, but i think for what your paying its at great value! The rooms itself are super nice!

The best views you could dream of in Ella looking towards the Ravana falls. Loved sitting early morning and evenings admiring the view.

The view have our hearts ❤️ don't miss the sunrise here. One of The best sun rises we watched till now. You can see the waterfall from the balcony. We took the big rooms. Only thing is they must have used glass instead on grill in the balcony. Grill is disturbing the view. You should walk 50-80 mtrs down to reach the room. Food was good. Prefer veg here. They Can maintain it better

We would have preferred to be closer to the centre of Ella. We would also have preferred to be in the main building because the night we spent there, it rained so hard that we didn’t want to go out of the room and up to the main building for dinner because the road was steep and would have been very difficult in the rain.

The breakfast was great and the view from the dining room was exceptional. The view from our balcony was amazing but the weather prevented us from sitting on the balcony. That was not the fault of the hotel, however.

Room service was a little slow as the room we were in was in another building that you had to walk up a slope to get to.

Astounding view of the hills! We also walked down the flight of stairs from the room to the train tracks. We had the family room, 1 king bed and 1 queen bed. Room was clean and tidy, and comfortably slept the 3 of us. decent facilities and friendly staff. Breakfast was a simple buffet of local food with an egg station, decent. Had a great experience riding a tuktuk to the hotel room (slopes are quite steep)

Didn’t clean the rooms or change towels without asking 5 times. Nightmare to access property due to steep hill

Nothing to complain about the accomodation as such. The access to the accommodation is via a narrow and steep path as others mentioned, but cars and smaller size vans can access the property (my driver wasn’t worried at all driving in that narrow path). The host offers tuk tuk if there is a bigger vehicle, the downside is finding a place to park that vehicle somewhere for your stay.

Located in the amazing place with a view to the falls across the valley, which you can hear clearly. The scenery is breathtaking. We were a family of four. The room was spacious, so was the bath room. I regretted booking for only one night. I ordered dinner and was room delivered. Breakfast had both western and local cuisines and it was unlimited. The staff were friendly and helpful. I woke up to the beautiful scenery on the new year day and took some time lapse video of clouds rolling over the hill and the mist moving across the valley. You don’t get to do that just from your bed room.

The kommunikation before Arrival was a bit confusing. And it Seem as if they prefered to cancel our rooms

The rooms were very Nice and the beds very comfortable, the rooms had the view of Dreams. The exterior of the Ella Hill crest seems more of a construction site than a hotel. The Restaurants in Ella town, the barn and restant Chill was a Nice Experince.
