The room we stayed in is a modern glass house, well decorated with a big office table perfect to finish your left emails and then take a shower outside in a well covers area. Unfortunately the little house is not so well sounds proofed, so the night was full of disturbing form the near by street, fighting dogs and animals as well as late night party people having a great time on there way home. We woke up to the Maintanance staff cleaning the sewer system to out bad luck this morning.

When we enter the location we meet a lush and green scenery. The welcome of Eraeliya is warm and informative. The reception feels like to come to someone’s home back in the colonial times. The food is the best about this place, extremely well composed in a platoria of colors, dinner by the pool. Breakfast is served in the most beautiful settings with a beautiful view over the bay and the early morning surfers.

Nothing we didn’t like about the property. We only had breakfast so can’t comment on the other menu items but I do think $12 for a latte is crazy expensive!

Beautiful accommodation located just outside the main town of Weligama! With private access to the beach and a beautiful pool looking out over the surfers, you feel you never want to leave the property. Breakfast was included and was really tasty and the staff are just excellent and really pleasant!

The staff was a bit slowly reactive and appeared not to be very happy. The first day we had some trouble to find sun beds because there are not enough. The beach access could be improved. The price is quite expensive for a 5 stars hotel and the view compensates it, but the service could really be improved (we had to ask things several times).

The location is mind blowing with the front sea view, the villa garden and the swimming pool. There is also a beach access. Our room was big, nicely decorated in a colonial style with spa furnitures. The customer has the choice to have breakfast in front of his room on the private terrasse or in the garden which adds to the intimacy. The breakfast was really good!

Dinner menu quite highly priced compared to other local restaurants, so we were tempted to eat out - I felt for the chef as his food was amazing, we had fresh water crab on the last night , delicious but London prices.

Fantastic location close to but away from the busy beach of Weligama. Beautifully designed main villa - felt like a sumptuous private home with extensive immaculate gardens, views of sea and infinity pool. The staff were especially helpful and friendly, the breakfast healthy, fresh and flexible on time and place.

Excellent property with very good staff. The building and location are stunning, with a perfect pool and direct access to the beach. Food was very good and served either in the garden or at our villa. Town is a short tuk tuk ride away so very convenient

Our stay at Eraeliya Villas was absolutely fantastic! It truly couldn't have been better. The staff was incredibly professional and exceptionally friendly. The accommodation itself was stunning. It was our honeymoon, and they had beautifully decorated our room.

This is by far the best stays I have ever had. We were a party of four (two couples) and had opted for the sea facing family villa which huge and private. The beach, the cliff and the pool- everything was picture perfect. A special call out to the exceptional staff who made our stay so comfortable- Housekeeping: Hemantha/ Damith Butlers: Sandun/ Deen/ Praneeth Kitchen: Shan/ Kaveen Front Office: Tharaka If you are looking for a quiet, relaxed, romantic and luxurious stay by the ocean I would highly recommend this place.

Service was superb, we had dinner (which was a pasta and fish).. good food. Breakfast was served in the room, elaborately setup (as my wife had a back pain), in-house therapists helped her(free of charge). Armenian receptionist was excellent.

The room by the pool was beautiful, the service and food were excellent, great garden and views, and two awesome little beaches outside the hotel. Completely worth the price. What a beautiful place and chilled atmosphere. Great food at very fair prices. Make sure you have the lobster dinner in the garden by the ocean.

The only thing more beautiful than surroundings of this place is kindness of the staff. Everybody made us feel so welcomed. Especially Lakmal, who took care of us from the beggining until the end. Delicious food, calmness and smiles. Our hearts are full. Definitely coming back to this wonderful place.
