I have concluded my journey with the happiest experience since travelling around Sri Lanka. Thank you for the warm welcome and the emotional experience offered. There is no option to compare this Family Nest with a hotel. IT WILL EXCEED THE EXPECTATIONS Close to the bus station. Buses to Colombo airport Close to a restaurant Shops nearby for buying drinking water or something to eat.

Family Nest (or ‘Oasis Family Nest’ on Google Map) is a great homestay with spacious, clean and comfortable rooms. The AC (which is charged separately) works great and made my stay more comfortable. The family who runs the guesthouse is lovely and helpful, and the entrance of the cave temple is just a 2 min walk from there. Dinner was also delicious. Overall a great place to stay in Habarana and I would definitely come again!

The owner was very welcoming and full of local knowledge that he was very happy to pass on to us. Traditional Sri lankan breakfast that was very good. Location is perfect for walking to the golden Buddha and the rock temple

The host is fantastic and the property is located only 1 minute walk from the Dambulla caves entrance. Superb food for dinner and breakfast which was tasty, fresh and local. There was no menu which suited us and I am sure he could cater for personal tastes if required. We stayed 2 nights and got very different things both days to eat.

Very nice rooms open on a beautiful garden. Very quiet place even if close to the road. It’s possible to walk easily to Dambulla temple. The breakfast was delicious and typical from Sri Lanka.

A mosquito nest would be useful. Be mindful there is no hot water in the basic room, although in most cases you won't need (unless you are by the heavy rain! )

Pradeep is very welcoming and friendly. They lend me a bike to go to town, gave me a hair dryer to dry me soaked shoes from the rain, helped me with an issue I had, gave me a ride after to the bus station. He was so nice. The room is big and spacious, has its own porsche. Foos is so good.

We had an amazing stay in Dambulla! The first thing was the welcoming hospitality from Pradeep and his family. They made sure we were enjoying, he gave us many recommendations and prepared amazing food! (Two of us are vegan and he adapted everything for us). Second one, the beautiful and peaceful garden. The location is close to town, but for who is looking for tranquility, family Nest is the right place. Room has enough space. Everything was clean. Thank you for making our days much better! We hope to came back!

Large, thought out rooms with comfortable bed, desk, seating area and large bathroom. Sockets and light switches in sensible places (next to bed and desk). The location is ideal, just a few minutes walk from the cave temples but off the main road so nice and peaceful. The family who run the guesthouse could not be more friendly and accommodating. Coffee/tea always available and lots of useful information/advice. On arrival the owner kindly went to the store for me to get some supplies. After a small dog bite he took me to the hospital and waited around for hours whilst I had various rabies injections. The service they offer is well beyond expectations, they want to make you feel at home. I could not recommend this place highly enough

He recommended a few places and took me there on the way to Sigiriya. I had a massage at the Ayurveda centre, but the prices are a bit high and the staff aren’t very professional. So if you don’t want to get disappointed, you should go go somewhere else.

The proprietor was really super helpful and responded to all our questions. He gave tips and supported with all things. We are sad that we could only stay there for one night. It should be emphasized that the rooms are large and clean. The beds are very comfortable and on the whole it was just a come home

Wifi didn't work and the shower wasn't warm. But for me it wasn't a big deal.

I was very happy that the staff treated me like family. In addition, all the rice made by my mother was the best! I want to go again.

there are regular power-cuts, although that's hardly the hotel's fault. Wifi is very slow and patchy.

The staff - Pradib and his wife - were very welcoming and kind. I was cooked a marvellous Sri Lankan dinner from local produce, and my host went out of his way to get me some beer. The location is pleasant too.

A very very nice and helpful family. Great time in a nice and cheap stay. very close to Dambulla city, Temple and other nice things. if you want to do something just tell the host and he will organize everything for a nice price. (safari, tours, …)

I had a great stay. Pratel likes to fullfill all wishes his clients produce. Also within super short notice. He even picked me up with his scooter, when it turned out, that the bus left me at the wrong place. Food is great for a reasonable price. I can strongy recommend this place for everyone looking for a quiet place, a nice family, good food and lots of travel advise

The ambience is excellent, the owner of the property Mr.Pradeep is very honest and loyal, very loving and caring towards my needs .In my entire tour in Srilanka not found a person like him . Within one or two hours he made me felt like I am at home and I felt him as my big brother , very caring ,if any one visisting Dambulla ,blindly go to Family net The home made food is excellent .
