The room and bathroom are clean, and the balcony is spacious with a beautiful view. The host is very friendly and happy to share travel tips, and the breakfast is delicious. The best part is that they provide a water dispenser to promote environmental protection.

Unfortunately, we were there during a heat wave and so the air conditioner had difficulty cooling down the room since the ceilings are so high and the room is very spacious.

Large, spacious room with high ceilings, firm mattress, and space to sit, and a cabinet to hang clothing. The bathroom was also large and newly renovated. The owner is extremely friendly and kind and the breakfast offered is tasty and a good portion size. The is a neighbourhood cat that also stops by for attention! The view is also great. There's a shared refrigerator that you can use and access to the kitchen to make coffee and tea. The internet was fast enough for streaming and video calls.

Incredible Homestay, beautiful big balcony overlooking the city, awesome for sunrise and sunset. Huge room with huge windows for the view. Host was really attentive, sent me lots of tips for food etc in the city, breakfast was incredible, served out there on the balcony. Adorable cat to cuddle too.

The owner gave us a very warm welcome and really went the extra mile to help us out. We loved the views from the terrace and really enjoyed eating our breakfast there. (Probably the best breakfast we had during our holiday in Sri Lanka). Feel Home is located away from the main hustle and bustle but still really convenient. The owner offered to arrange a taxi or tuk tuk if we wanted one. We would recommend to others.

Nothing not to like. Couldn’t recommend enough. I am usually very picky, but can’t think of anything to change!

The property is just amazing, from the lobby to the room to the balcony! The property is powered by solar which means that from an environmental perspective, it is very sustainable. The room is very spacious and feels very luxurious - with air conditioning, lots of plug sockets, comfortable bed. The balcony boasts great views over Kandy too, which is where the breakfast is served. For an extra $4 for breakfast, it is worth the cost (eggs, fresh fruit, juice, bread, jam). The host is also very helpful and will give you accurate information about public transport, restaurants and activities. We really liked that he was not pushy, when it came to taxis, tuk tuks and guides. He let us make our own decisions. Feel Home is great value for money!

We appreciated much the warm welcome Fazly gave us, the large and clean room, and last but not least, the time that Fazly took to provide excellent advice and arrange us train tickets to Ella. It was a pleasure to meet such a trustworthy person. We highly recommend a stay at Fazly place, which has even a beautiful balcony with a magnificent view.

The property was lovely and clean and comfortable - the only thing we would change is that the room was a little hot at night as the aircon wasn’t very powerful.

The guest house was gorgeous, with a comfortable room and incredible views across Kandy. The host Fazly was so helpful, helping us to organise 3 days of activities, giving us ideas and arranging for a guide and driver as well as tuktuk rides when we needed them. He shared his knowledge and recommendations but was very chilled about how we spent our time, always gave us space to make our own decisions after hearing the prices and itineraries, reminding us that this was our holiday. Everything was accommodated for our comfort, even starting a trip a little later in the morning so we didn’t have to rush breakfast. The breakfast was delicious with the bonus of different little sweet treats every day cooked by his wife, I am celiac and he made sure to let me know about what I could and couldn’t eat both at breakfast and when out and about in restaurants. It was quiet at night and well worth being out of the hustle and bustle of the city for the peaceful evenings and incredible views - but so easy to get into Kandy in about 10 minutes in a tuktuk, they even collected us from the station for free. We had a brilliant time here and felt at home very quickly. Thank you Fazly- we wish we could have stayed a little longer!

What a fabulous place! Elevated, so it’s peaceful and provides stunning views over Kandy. The owner is so helpful. Arranged for a tuktuk tour of places we wanted to see. He also arranged train tickets to Ella ahead of our stay. I wouldn’t hesitate in booking this place again. Breakfast was (at the time of writing) the best we’ve had in Sri Lanka.

Fazly couldn't do more for his guests as he is only happy if you are. He is always available and will find a solution for any query you have. The accommodation is fantastic 3 rooms surround a large living area with use of a kitchen. The food is super tasty, varied and great value. We would definitely return.

Wonderful place to stay. Large, very clean rooms with nice furniture. Nice shared spaces. The huge deck is lovely for watching the sunset and eating breakfast. The breakfast was plentiful and excellent. We loved the extras like filtered water, coffee and tea, and the kitchen. The location is great, just far enough out of the city to be relaxing but a quick tuktuk to town or the botanical garden. Highly recommend staying here.

Loved our stay here! Fazly the host was amazing and created a great/helpful start to our Sri Lankan trip. Great planning advice for the rest of the trip and help organising tuktuks/ day trip to Kunckles. The home cooked Sri Lankan breakfast was amazing. This all started even before our trip, with his help organising a reasonably priced car from the airport to Kandy.

Fazly is so helpful, he really made our stay! The property is really clean, comfortable and has a lovely view. Hot water in the shower, filtered water to drink (and flask bottles for you to use during your stay) and a delicious breakfast every day (we had the Sri Lankan breakfast and fazly added something different each day so we could try it. Fazly helped us arrange tuktuks to and from any place we wanted to go, and two day trips we wanted to do by car. I really recommend staying here while you are in Kandy - you won’t find anywhere else as clean and hospitable. Thank you Fazly

The premise itself is beautiful, situated slightly uphill so gives an excellently serene view of streets, houses and hills; the room spacious, quaint and clean. Feel Home is an amazing place in Kandy with an awesome view with beautiful rooms. It was very clean and we felt like home. The host suggested to plan our day in Kandy and we did not regret it. He organized a tuktuk for the whole day that drove us from spot to the other and recommended us what to visit. After one day in Sri Lanka it was nice that someone else did the planning for one day haha. The breakfast was also very great. One of us is vegan and he bought Avocado for the breakfast. Overall he was very helpful with everything (be it money exchange, train tickets, etc.) Feel home also has a very good water filter, so you don‘t have to buy any plastic bottles in Kandy. We liked the water more than every other water we tried in Sri Lanka. Thank you for everything!! ❤️

Great property! The cleanest place we’ve stayed on the trip by far. Great spacious room, beautiful balcony and views and the owner is delightful. Nothing was too much trouble and he was very helpful! Organised us tuk tuks and a car to our next stop. Did a great cooking class nearby too organised by the owner - would recommend. Breakfast was also fabulous and accommodating of my gluten free needs! Recommend to all!

This place is really exceptional, we stayed 2 nights and absolutely enjoyed it. The host Fazly is truly amazing - he arranged a pickup for us from the train station, helped with all the tips and information, and generally just a good hearted and lovely person. The place is spotless clean, well arranged and well taken care of. I also really appreciated that the owner provides drinking bottles and filtered water to reduce plastic usage, and also recycling. We took a western breakfast on one of the days and it was delicious, there’s also a Sri Lankan breakfast option, which we didn’t try. Location was great too - it’s a short drive by tuk-tuk or a car, and being outside of the busy Kandy center you get a total peace, plus an amazing view. Absolutely recommend.
