Arriving at the hotel requires climbing a very steep road. Could be problematic when the roads are wet and slippery.

We felt the price per night too high in comparison to other Hotels we stayed in Sri Lanka. You could hear everything from the neighbours, not really soundproofed rooms.

Very nice and newly renovated rooms with modern bathroom! We loved the view from the balcony. Good breakfast buffet with a lot of Western and Sri lankan options. Friendly and very helpful staff!

We really enjoyed our stay at Fox Kandy. On arrival we were warmly welcomed by newly appointed General Manager, Meyen. Rooms had exceptional views, and they were clean and spacious. Loved the concept of rooms having glass water bottles that are refilled everyday. Environmentally friendly approach to reduce use of plastics. Beautiful and well-maintained gardens. Loved the infinity pool. Pool area is bit small but didn’t bother us as it was not crowded. I find staff are mostly very friendly enthusiastic and helpful. Breakfast and Dinner Buffett are exceptional. Our whole family enjoyed their lovely food. I noticed General Manager Meyen personally supervising dinner buffet and talking to guests. Meyen is a lovely person and I feel we were well looked after. He is also open to feedback and suggestion. I can honestly say this is one of the best hotel experiences I had in Sri Lanka. Thank you !

The views at the resort were amazing, the room was clean and very accommodating, and the staff were very friendly and attentive to the guests. They made the birthday we celebrated special with a cake and I would definitely recommend this place to others.

The hotel was not easy to find, some of the signage was misleading. The roads are not in good condition approaching the hotel. It is worth leaving extra time to get to the hotel.

From the time we arrived we were welcomed by all the staff with open arms. Nothing was too much trouble and the sight of the happy anniversary spelt out in leaves on our bed and two swans made out of towels was a lovely gesture. The food was excellent, the infinity pool was crystal clear and the views were stunning overlooking Kandy.

The room was very spacious, with comfortable bed and great views from the balcony. The grounds are well tended, the pool area has great views as does the restaurant. Hands down the best shower we came across during our trip to Sri Lanka!

The views to the mountains are wonderful, the attention of the staff is great, the restaurant is top class in Kandy (especially the night buffet). Highly recommended if you want to stay away from the busy Kandy city.
