- The road leading to the location is a bit bumpy and on a hill, but they arranged a very good tuktuk driver for us so it was very easy to get to the city

Beautiful hotel. Very comfortable rooms. Outstanding pool and delicious food. In particular- we left our diary in the room and 2 days after leaving, contacted the hotel and they shipped it to us within 30 minutes of contacting them. What a fantastic service and what lovely people.

It is quite high up in the mountain on a winding road. This is a tradeoff, because once you reach there, you will be greeted by a breathtaking view.

Fox Kandy is completely out of the way. It's nestled on top of a hill and is troublesome for rikshaws to climb up. We had trouble getting transport to and from the city. Apart from this, everything is perfect.

Property is top class. The views are perfect and you can see the entire city. The room was well lit and airy. It drove a sense of pristine calm.

It was a little far from Kandy up a very small windy road. We personally found the restaurant didn’t have much atmosphere, felt like we were in a school hall. The staff were pleasant but not overly friendly.

A lovely hotel nestled in to the hillside of Kandy. If you want to break from it all then it’s a lovely retreat.

Beautiful scenery, neat and pleasant space, friendly and fast service, Delicate consideration and warmth for all guests, Also, we were given a very low price for the guests' drivers, so we had no problem with our daily travel schedule, and we were once again impressed by this consideration. The trough that gave us a smile with delicate towel art when we came back from a tired day In the morning and evening, we greeted Lahiru with delicate consideration and laughter and served the food I'm sorry, I couldn't memorize everyone's names, but thank you very much for warmly welcoming and taking care of us If I visit Candy again, I will definitely come here. Of course, it will also be a pleasure to recommend this place.

I liked the view. It was so beautiful. You can see the birds from your balcony and it’s so relaxing to see different birds flying around your balcony. The infinity pool also clean and chilling. Finally the breakfast buffet also have different options to choose from

My wife and I were looking forward to local Sri Lankan breakfast cuisine but this was slightly hidden from view so as a suggestion, make this more prominent as tourists come to experience this away from their home country. Another Policy improvement would be to allow for Driver accommodation. I know this is a responsibility placed on the shoulders of the paying guest but small gestures like this go a long way in remembering the best parts of where we stay on our itinerary.

The view from the room of the natural forestry was breathtaking - what a nice view first thing in the morning. The staff were accommodating given our very late (early hours morning) arrival. The continental breakfast met my expectation and the overall grounds a very nice experience to meander around.

It is very challenging to get between Kandy and the hotel. Cabs/tuk tuks would often refuse to travel there or charge extra.

The staff were incredibly helpful and friendly. We enjoyed the food and the rooms were clean and comfortable.

I don’t think the charges were accurate to what was said on booking.com. I believe I payed more than what I was told on the website.

The location was beautiful, albeit a little tough to get to with Tuk Tuk, but well worth it!

Once we were at the property we liked everything

The location is great - with a caveat….. once you get there. If if want to stay there and pretty much just lounge around the pool, it’s perfect. But if you want to wander out from the hotel and walk around Kandy, then you shouldn’t stay here. The road(s) to the property are very slow and steep, and while it’s close to Kandy in a straight line, in reality it isn’t.

Nothing in particular except some minor stuff, the breakfast could do with some more variety and the glass door in the room that opens upto the view was a little hazy, maybe the glass can be replaced. Oh and maybe some good coffee with a nice espresso maker. :)

The reason you would want to visit this place is for the view and calm. But I was pleasantly surprised by the humble and kind staff members who were just awesome! Special thanks to Dinesh from the restaurant and the super helpful reception : )

Easier road to reach hotel.

Location was lovely, although precarious to get there, maybe that's just a tourist view. Hotel, staff and food were superb. Very clean and well cared for. Quality fittings and attention to detail from the staff were evident everywhere.
