Great hotel and it absolutely exceeded our expectations. The rooms are spacious and the beds comfortable. The swimming pool is small but it's such a luxury to be able to swim in the peaceful surroundings.

Everything about our stay was excellent. The cabin was clean and spacious with a view of the pool. The pool was also clean and ideal for cooling off. We had breakfast and dinner at the resort, traditional Sri Lanka food to a good standard. The staff, especially Miss H…..and manager, Miss D….were all lovely and very attentive during our staff and very supportive, upfront when booking tours, special requests and Tuk.

During my recent holiday, I stayed at a lovely hotel that made my experience truly enjoyable. The cleanliness of the place was remarkable, and the staff members were incredibly polite and welcoming, which added a warm touch to my stay. The room had everything I needed for a comfortable stay, and I particularly enjoyed spending time at the pool area, which provided a relaxing atmosphere to unwind. Overall, it was a wonderful experience, and I look forward to visiting again in the future.

Having to leave.

We have spent 2 nights and we wished we had stayed for longer. The resort is located in a quiet area not far from shops and restaurants in Habarana. The facilities are very good. The staff and their hospitality is absolutely amazing, they will do everything to help you with whatever you need. The rooms are big and comfortable. It is the perfect place to relax and discover this beautiful area of Sri Lanka

The facilities, the staff, but best part about this one is the location, being in the heart of the nature, hearing the sound of the birds, and all the animals, amazing one. All the staff was there ready to help with all our request, recommend for sure. Great breakfast, guys from the staff were always there to cook it fresh for you.

This is not what I didn’t like but what visitors should keep in mind: the place is away from the city; so I wish they had more vegetarian options for dinner. That’s all.

I liked almost everything: from the wonderful staff who went out of their way to help me with an issue I had with my phone charger to the beautiful rooms to the outstanding surroundings. Add to that the proximity to one of the best spas in Sri Lanka, an excellent breakfast, and a reasonable price for what you receive, and you get yourself a winner.

The rooms are very special and in the jungle. At night it was very loud - from rain and animals on the roof but it was also a special feeling. The staff was very kind and always wanted us to feel the best. They did a lot to make our stay to remember.

The staff were awesome. Very hospitable and the food was outstanding. Ayurvedic (Sri Lankan medicine) massage therapy provided by their sister organization (next door) to me and my husband was also very good (Gabaa arranged this). Gabaa is a very customer focused resort. Will visit with the whole family next time.

It is in a nature setting so bugs are to be expected but it did make eating at the hotel restaurant a little difficult.

The villas are huge and clean. I loved the natural setting of this place. I enjoyed the inside, outside shower (lots of privacy but open to the sky). The staff were friendly and helpful. The wifi was really good here too. When i got sick the staff really helped me out and ensured I got the care I needed.

The hot water in the shower only lasts a few minutes before it’s cold but since it’s a warm area it’s not an issue. The mosquitos in the region where really bad whilst there (not the fault of the the property it was everywhere). So be prepared for good bug spray when eating at the open restaurant.

The rooms are nicely done and comfortable. There are a few steps into the bungalows which could be better built but minor. The staff are really pleasant and helpful. The pool is a bonus when you come from a long hot day of touring.

The wifi was not very good. There were some (pretty big) mosquitos in the room. The pool didn’t look very clean so we didn’t use it.

The location was great. Nice, cozy looking place and houses. The people working were super friendly and made us a big meal that was nothing short of a feast. The rooms were clean and comfortable. We spotted some elephants nearby as the cherry on top!
