The property manager Madhu was a great host, and would go out of his way to make our stay comfortable. He also made a lot of vegetarian dishes himself. Highly recommended for a peaceful stay in a natural setting.

Loved Madu’s hospitality, and particularly, his coconut rotis, lentil dahl curry and potato curry. He is very caring and loves to feed his guests! The property has a lot of charm, and also a river where guests can swim alongside Lola, The Labrador. A lovely experience!

Nothing- it was great!

This was one of the most peaceful, lovely experiences during my trip around Sri Lanka. The tents were well equipped, spacious, and comfortable and made for a peaceful nights sleep. Madu the manager was so kind and helpful! The service and food was excellent- homemade traditional sri lankan food in big portions. We had a lovely time wandering around and going for a swim in the river with the friendly dog Lola. We would like to thank Madu and everyone at the property for their hospitality. We will definitely be coming again! Great glamping experience.

Everything’s as great

This place was BRILLIANT! The perfect getaway luxury glamping experience. There was Air Con, great food, very spacious cute little huts! The scenery was beautiful. The lovely guide showed us the river in the morning which is a must do spontaneous activity that made our day, an early morning swim in the wild!

Everything was great!

Madu was amazing as host. He made sure that all of the food was suitable for the 5 year old. He also arranged our Safari, which was great as well! We really like the "tents" - which were actually little houses, everything was super clean, and even though it was 35° outside during the day, we did not even need the AC during the night, as the tents are in between trees. We also like the access to the river for a swim in the morning, We definitely recommend to stay there!

Great value for a safari-like stay. The tents are very large (enough space for 3 adults or 2 adults and 2 young kids) and I think they had just gotten new ones as they were in great condition. The staff is super friendly and accommodating. The river nearby was great for swimming.

A gorgeous collection of very cosy tents, we had a great time here. Our tent was comfortable and clean, we were very happy staying there with our 2 year old daughter. The surroundings are stunning, the sounds of the jungle all around you are incredible and overall the whole place feels very peaceful. We were so well looked after by Madu, he made our stay. He went out of his way to make sure we had a good time, gave us recommendations and cooked the most delicious food we’ve had in Sri Lanka. He is a very special person. The safari he organised for us was a highlight of our whole trip. Thank you Madu!

After the safari at the udawalawa National Park, we arrived at the hotel in the evening. The location of this property is close to the river and it's very beautiful. We ordered our dinner in there. The food was so good. (We ordered something sri lankan with lake fish). The bed was so comfortable, and the room was very clean. You can make your own tea or coffee in the room. Apart from our tent, there are few tents in this property. The environment of this property is very calm and quiet. There were few options for breakfast. We ordered the srilankan breakfast for us, and it was so delicious. Actually it was a nice experience of our holiday. We will come back soon. Thank you 😊

This place is a real gem. The accommodation was amazing. It was very clean and comfortable and the food was excellent. The host was very welcoming and extremely helpful. The safari tour exceeded all. It was an unforgettable experience. From the moment I arrived, the staff went above and beyond to ensure our comfort and satisfaction. Also it is very close to national park and they can organize everything for you to get there! Highly recommended!

The crew, Madu, Inoka and Chandana were top! They were so friendly, helpful and kind to us. They made twice a great romantic diner. The safari we did was also great. Good location to explore the national park.

The property was in the midst of nature and the staff, especially the manager Madhu were extremely sweet and accomodating. Note: It gets really dark outside at night as there aren't too many artificial lights (which is great to see the stars), make sure you carry a torch.

The air inside the tent was really bad. The tent is made out of a synthetic material that does not breathe, this creates moist and moldy air inside that is hard to breathe. We had all the mosquito net windows open, used the air conditioner and a fan to make it better, but it did not do much. And since there is mosquitoes there, and no mosquito net over the bed, you don't really want to sleep with the door open to get some fresh air. This was far from any luxury as the tent was described.

The host was really nice, he made us good food and was very friendly. He also helped us with getting a taxi for a good price. The look of the bedroom inside the tent is nice, and the bed was comfortable.
