The territory of the hotel was very big and nice! Beach was very clean and interesting to walk and to collect shells. Swimming pool area was also good organized. Srilankian breakfast was very tasty!

What I loved most about this place was the relaxing and calm feeling on the premises. It was a different level of experience for me because I was too busy with some stuff, and this place really helped me to step away from the busy schedule and to be relaxed. The staff was super friendly and always ready to help, making me feel welcome right from the get – go. The rooms were comfy, and there was no disturbance, providing a peaceful environment. The food was really good, especially the seafood, which was super delicious. This beach resort can be recommended to anyone who looking for a nice place with a beach nearby, with a fantastic pool, delicious food, and a friendly staff.

There were lots of mosquitoes in Oct (rainy season), and a few leaks when it rained. But to us, this wasn't a deal breaker, we'd go back again!

The staff we very courteous, sincere and eager to make our stay comfortable. The food was top notch!!! Best seafood meals I've had, generous portions and flavourful curries. I'd come back just for the food! Rooms were right near the beach and we had the beach to ourselves... perfect location!

Wonderful time !! Unforgettable stay at Giman Free Beach Resort. Peace and privacy on the beach, no disturbance at all. We both had a wonderful time at the Beach, with shallow water for a perfect sea bath throughout the day. Food offered was just to our liking and the sea food was special. The staff is ever accommodative and supportive. Lots of trees around you and nature all over with inhouse naturalist to show and explain the nature, nature trails and History. Great place to stay for an extended stay !!

Best thing about the hotel is the location. Nature lovers and people who like peaceful places must book this hotel only. And book it on full moon night. You will never regret. It will be a lifetime experience. Extremely extremely fantabulous moonlit night stay it will be for the nature loving people. Totally satisfied with the hotel stay. Clean rooms , Clean bathroom with bath tub , clean swimming pool , Moonlit beach experience. Beach is just 5 steps away from the hotel. Everything about the hotel is just 10/10. The staffs will make sure that you enjoy your stay completely. Babu supervisor , Ajeeth manager , Pavi cook + auto driver , Neroshan helper , Darshini and Ronshini cleaners..all of them did an amazing job to make our stay enjoyable. All of them are very very helpful , cooperative, supportive and hospitable. 10/10 Pavi makes very delicious food for the guest. Indian, Sri Lankan, English breakfast options are available. A la carte menu is available for lunch dinner snacks. Alcoholic drinks are also available. Food quantity is more than enough. One person cannot finish the food, they give huge quantity. We witnessed fresh fish buying from the beach fishermen. You may buy fresh fish from there and ask the restaurant staff to cook it for you. No disturbance, Only Peace and Enjoyment.

Excellent sea food that we have tasted in Sri Lanka. Very good portion size with touch of Sri lanka style we feel !!. Long beach ideal for swimming any time of the day. Trees all around the Resort premises and we feel it’s a very large property. Comfortable sleeping arrangements with quite large washrooms. Absolute privacy on the beach which you will not find any ware in Sri Lanka now.. Ideal getaway Resort to be with your loved ones..

My impression is hard to put in words, but I'll try. This hotel has probably been prosperous several years ago, but now it looks empty and even spooky a bit. It is located quite far from everything, the road to the hotel is a dirt road. There's a swimming pool, but very shabby. The ocean is very close and nice, but there's no prepared beach, no deck chairs and beach umbrellas. WI-FI works near reception only. There probably used to be a lawn between bungalows, but now it's dry. The room is spacious, but it seems no one has been there for quite a while. Some barbed wire could be found on the territory. The staff though is very friendly and helpful. But the entire property is really strange. We spent one night there, and if there're no other options it would work, but it's probably not the best choice for a long stay with kids especialy. The hotel could be transformed into something nice, but there's a lot of work to be done yet.

Well it’s not a “resort” there is previous long review by an Australian lady that is spot on read that…..staff lovely especially the poor girl on reception who was 10 days into her job and seemed completely dumped on by invisible management ! No bar not a problem for many but generally run down lacking investment think hard about coming here !

The pool area is very poorly maintained, for example full of leaves, plastic edging is all broken and breaks under a child when walking in it to get in the pool. There are only 4 loungers and no other seating. The small children’s pools were green. The restaurant area is poorly maintained. Unbelievable amount of flies at lunchtime and breakfast, slightly better in the evening.

The rooms are large and spaced out well. The staff were friendly.

A beautiful beach, the sea has a lot of corals and their seafood and other meals are amazing We loved the architecture and interior decoration of the hotel and our room was beautiful and the staff were very friendly. Where to start. I tend to be really fair with my reviews, my standard are not very high, and do not like giving negative reviews, but this property is so badly maintained that I hope management can take this review as constructive criticism. Overall this property looks like an abandoned resort, it should not be called a resort, resort gives the impression of a nice place to relax with a number of facilities. We booked for 3 nights, but thank goodness for booking.com flexible cancellation policy, because I wanted to get out of there as soon as we arrived. I can appreciate some of the other reviews saying that is the perfect place to relax, but if you have kids and want a clean beach and a clean pool for them to be entertained, do not stay here (see the picture of the pool, it wasn’t so much about the leaves or bugs, it was the dirty moulding tiles). The beach was very dirty, not the “picture perfect Pasikuda beach” we imagined, 4 broken and dirty daybeds around the pool, one broken wooden bench near the beach and absolutely nothing else to do.

Despite the “resort” facilities, the room was actually nice and comfortable, some general maintenance and upgrades would make the rooms better, such a as the tap in the bathtub, so slow we could not fill up the tub. Staff are nice and do their best, obviously not their fault this hotel needs a total upgrade. Oh the food was very good.

Great holiday..!! Must Go Holidays Resort that offers great food. Friendly stuff,very good Room facilities and great Location peaceful stay. Ideal beach for a swim any time of tha day. No disturbances on tha beach and stretch of Natural beach as you can find nnaturally. Never to Miss opportunities of discounted rates, good value for Money. Liked · Love everything here. We spent amazing weekend.... this is a real resort with surrounded by nature.... no any noise sounds. Full calming..... because it is very close to beach. 😃 staff was so friendly... they make us as feel as home. Breakfast also was so tasty. I recommend this resort for everyone who wish spend their holidays without any trouble and full with nature. Definitely we will come again....
