Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):

United KingdomThe property is like a jail it’s all locked up after 12 and homeless people sleep in doorways. The reception guy wouldn’t let me into hotel as he says it gets locked at midnight. The room was big and very comfortable but not a nice location

OmanThis Hotel does not serve you breakfast and also the places around this Hotel are not breakfast-worthy. Hence prepare to head out to a Mall or else-where to have your healthy breakfast served.
Room was spacious with a good WiFi. The location was great right in the middle of a busy street. Easy to find the Tuk-Tuks while you head out of the Hotel. Staff was friendly too.

Very helpfull staff. We had a flight in the night but could leave our bags at the reception and could even shower before going to the airport. Very spacious room with excellent wifi (after we asked them to turn it on) and good shower and ac. Nice and vibrant quarter where the hotel is located in. Good inhouse restaurant.

United KingdomWe would have liked to have a kettle in the bedroom and we could not access the Wi-Fi but neither of these bothered us too much.
We liked the staff a lot. The beds were very comfortable and the bedroom was overall very clean. The A/C and fan were essential because it was becoming very hot in Colombo. The location is vibrant and feels very authentic.

TaiwanTheir staff told us to wait for the WiFi, which we waited for 3 days and there were none. The rooms are not very clean. We had hair in the shower. One of the toilet was not flushed. The floor in the room was dirty. They forgot so many things, no trash can, not towels, not toilet papers.

The location is very convenient and the top view was amazing with 360 degree Colombo City View - The harbour Nelumpokuna structure etc. We visited on a full moon day so it was Fantastic to be on the roof top. The Manager Mr.Shanthakumar was very friendly and helpful.
