Construction is currently going on and we were the only people staying, it didnt exactly feel like they were open for We only needed to stay for 1 night as we travelled through.

Room was clean, people were nice. Wifi was good. Pool was good.

It's close to the road, so you here the traffic if you get the room close to it. The breakfast was monotonous, only instant coffee. There is the kitchen for guests but no cutlery, no kettle, no plates.

Nice, clean and good equipped room. We ask for an additional desk for work and the wish has been granted. AC and wi-fi work fine. Close to small shop, quite close to the beach. Nice pool and a place tos sit and relax in the shadow. A lot of wonderful restaurant around, we've been really glad.

Wifi was sometimes good sometimes bad. That would be nice staff becomes more friendly and helpful. That guy who works( not owner) , I asked little helps to carry our baggages but he avoided that and slowly go inside the house 😕.

This hotel is very close to goyambokka beach and also tangalle city. Room was comfortable, clean and big. Bathrooms are also very clean and had good hot water. Even this hotel located at the main road , there was no any noise. Nice place for relaxing. There was big pool with clean water(also has a small pool for kids).on our requests they arranged breakfast near the pool.They were gave superb breakfast.

So when we first got to the hotel the WIFI was not that great but by the time we left they had upgraded the router and boosters so it was much better and I could do my work, but I you are looking to do work everyday I probably would not recommend this hotel as its definitely more for a work free stay than a business trip or for us immigrating to New Zealand and still having to work on the way and the only other thing would be maybe some more variety with the choice of foods at breakfast but the food was great, I would have just liked a bit more variety. Overall my experience was great, I would just be aware that WIFI is not that good anywhere in Sri Lanka so its worth getting a sim card at the airport as a back up, try not to come to Sri Lanka to work remotely but to relax and enjoy the environment. If I did not have to work online with clients everyday this would have been a better experience.

The hotel its self was great with 2 small children of 6 and 1, the beach was only a short walk away and the pool made it easy to entertain the kids. The hospitality of the family was amazing and that is what makes this hotel great, the owners of the hotel have 2 children who love to socialise with the guest children and that just made my older daughters days as she had someone here age to play with. Also a great thing that ended up being really helpful for us was having a doctor and a nurse on site because when my daughter got an ear infection we had it checked out straight away by the doctor who also gave us medication to deal with the infection and helped us sort out the visit to the hospital, so if you want a relaxed family holiday and a family friendly hotel its worth the visit.

Being told l had to go and find a cash point because they would NOT accept any cards! That's the first time in my life after traveling to almost 50 countries and islands I have been forced to do that. I was really disappointed with this behaviour. The woman in charge couldn't speak any English and appeared to find the whole incident very amusing! Plus there were two entrances to this property. One private for presumably the owner, which was completed. The other for guests which was only half paved. So every time it poured with rain, we had to walk along the top of a small wall because our shoes would have been covered in red mud!

The pool was the highlight. The TV was ok and Ushara was really very kind and helpful.

We really could rest here. The rooms were spacious and comfy. During power cuts in the town the hotel provided the backup power generator that worked perfectly so we didn't really experience any inconveniences. The contact with manager was excellent, we were in touch via Whatsapp and could ask for anything anytime. Good location, a small shop across the street, cool pool, close to the most beautiful beaches. The breakfast was very tasty and with many options to choose from :)

We had a lovely 4 nightstay at Grand Residence. Large comfortable room with balcony and seating area. Shared kitchen with electric hob, fridge and all we needed to self cater. The pool area is great. Sun all day, good large umbrellas if you want shade, comfortable sun loungers. Nice clean pool. The breakfast was very nice, plenty of options. The staff were excellent very helpful and friendly. Special mention to Thushara he contacted us as soon as we made the booking to offer any assistance and was always available for anything we required. He even made our visa extension applications for us. Many thanks to him. The hotel is close to lovely beaches, especially Silent Beach. The best beach we have found in Sri Lanka. We highly recommend.

The residence is super nice, big enough with an amazing swimming pool. Friendly staff and great breakfast too. Very affordable as well. It is located at walking distance from goyambokka and silent beach, therefore you don't need to go to Tangalle town at all.

The breakfast was a bit underwhelming especially considering the price. Also the upper management is terrible. We asked to stay an extra night and only found out in the morning of that day we couldn't stay after I chased them. Then they proceded to change their compensation offer without ever consulting or communicating. If you want to stay here do everything you can on booking because these people aren't very organised.

5 minute walk to the beach. There are good seafood restaurants close by. The pool is amazing and everything is very clean. The host can help with everything and they are prepared for everything as well. A big plus is the unlimited internet which is superfast as well. You can work and facetime on it easily.

Rest of the staff didn’t speak english and sometimes it felt like we were the only ones there. The towels seemed Old with stains. The bedsheets also had stains. The hole place could need a serious clean up, we past by the same big dead spider on the flour all 3 days we were there. One small fridge to share with other guest, it wasn’t clean and our stuff was gone same day as we but it in. Breakfast simple but okay.
