We really liked the look and feel of the hotel. On arrival we had a very friendly greeting with a welcome drink which was delicious, especially after a long journey from the airport. Views from the restaurant and the roof top bar were fantastic! Both the food and drink in the hotel were reasonable prices (for a hotel). Breakfast was delicious, fruit platters were our favorite. It was my wife's birthday during our stay and the staff arranged a cake in our room to celebrate which she loved. The Hotel also arranged our driver who collected us from the airport, we have ended up using him as a tour guide all week! His company is called Sri Lankan Fair Tours, would highly recommend Raffaideen!

From the beginning to the end it was a wonderful experience for us. The rooms were spotless and amenities were exceptionally good. I would recommend this to anyone whose expectations are high and assure you that you will not be disappointed.

What could be improved is the smell in the hall and sometimes in the bathroom. Water at breakfast costs extra. Sometimes the waiter offered us taxi services during breakfast which was a bit inappropriate in such a hotel. When we wanted to order some in room dining, no one picked up the phone. One thing I really didn't like: I booked two nights in separate rooms (due to availability in different price categories (which I couldn't find out what separates them as the pictures were the same) . Upon arrival I asked if something changed on this and if we could spend both nights in the same room to which the lady said yes - which was great and I was very grateful for! But then during checkout I learnt it was the more expensive room of both and I was charged the higher price for both nights. It would have been professional to tell me upfront that I don't have to change rooms but thus pay more and not make this a bad surprise.

This is a very modern hotel with western standards. The room was really nice and the bathroom superb. Very comfortable beds. The view from the balcony and during breakfast is stunning. Breakfast is a buffet with western and Sri Lankan food. The hotel is on a hill and down to the lake walking time about 10mins.

Hotel has rooms both below and above the reception level and our room was below the reception; unfortunately there was a very bad smell in the corridor, probably related to the sewerage system. It might be worth asking for high-floor rooms.

It is a very modern, recently opened hotel in the hills of Kandy; providing amazing city views. Room was very clean with a very comfortable bed. Balcony is big enough. Breakfast options were satisfactory.

The pool is pretty small and they have zero place to sunbathe, even though it is still pretty nice. Had to wait 40 min at the sky lounge bar to have service and got no discounts for that.

The hotel is beautiful and very luxurious for Sri Lankan standards, the rooms are huge and very beautiful, the bed is super comfy and the bathroom very stilish, the views are amazing from every part of the hotel. Breakfast is a big buffet and they also have an on-demand egg station.

I had a fantastic stay at this hotel! The room was perfect, offering a variety of international TV channels, a safe, and a balcony with a beautiful view. The live saxo music during dinner was delightful, and the food was excellent. The only downside was the slow WiFi in the room. The staff was attentive, bringing luggage to the room, and even the chef came to greet us during dinner. Overall, a great experience.

Facilities are very modern with large rooms, a lovely rooftop terrace with swimming pool and a great restaurant. Plenty of options and staff went out of their way to make me more vegetarian food. This was the last hotel I stayed at whilst travelling Sri Lanka and by far the best. Very glad I booked here. As someone travelling by themselves the friendly staff make such a difference and are lovely to chat to. I was very sad to have to leave!

Staff were all super friendly Views from rooms and restaurant areas were incredible. Great supply and offering of food and accommodated dietary requirements where requested (vegan). The hotel was clean and we enjoyed our stay. We also utilised the laundry facilities and it was a quick turnaround and good value for money.

Very clean and a cute little hotel, everyone’s very nice from the manager to the cleaners and go out of their way to accommodate- especially with me since I am vegan and they changed a few things in the menu for me! They even got us in contact with an amazing tuktuk driver Danu who took us to the tooth temple and also took us on a lovely trip to water rafting which was 2.5 hour drive and he waited 3 hours to then take us back to the hotel!!!

The hotel has amazing views, especially from the pool. The rooms are spacious and really nice, bed is so comfy. The staff is very friendly and helpful. City center is 5 minutes with tuktuk, you could also walk, it's a nice walk by the lake, but the hotel being up the hill, it's a bit harder when you come back :)
