We had an absolutely fantastic experience at this accommodation! The staff were incredibly friendly and went above and beyond to assist with anything we needed. It's definitely a kid-friendly place, and they made sure our little ones had a blast. The safari they organized was breathtaking, and the jungle garden with its beautiful flowers, plants, and fruits was a delight, especially for the children who got to try some of the fruits. The air conditioning worked perfectly, and it was the only place we stayed in Sri Lanka with consistent hot water for showering. I would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a memorable stay in Uda Walawe!

All was good.

What a wonderful 3 night stay at Green View Safari Paradise we just had. Jayalath and his uncle, Pathirana are the nicest, most accommodating hosts. Nothing was too much trouble. We loved sitting by the large lily pond and feeding the turtles and reading our books. Pathirana pointed out iguanas large and small, he gave us a tour of the garden, with all the fruit and vegetables. Always smiling and lots of fun. We went half board and really enjoyed every meal. It was good quality, local food and varied every meal. The room was spotless, the aircon great and the shower was both hot and powerful (rare we have found this in SL!) The WiFi also worked really well. We could walk to the little town area for a fruit juice or little shop, plus the Elephant Transit Home. We had already booked a safari before arriving, but would have had no issues booking one here. Unlike some guesthouses, who insist on you booking theirs. (Be careful about this as they cancel the booking.com booking on the system so you can't leave a poor review). Jayalath arranged a good priced taxi from Ella for us too. If we return to Udawalawe, absolutely we would return here. Please note, they take credit cards which is great, booking.com says it is cash only. THANK YOU SO MUCH 🙏

Very nice location, with a green courtyard. The host was very friendly and helpful. He helped me spontaneously book a safari for the next day. There was also a buffet of Sri Lankan curries in the evening, which were very tasty and varied. I would come back at any time(:

A green and beautifully run guest house which we really enjoyed staying at.The owners are some of the kindest people we have met in sri lankan and went out their way to give us advice and a smile! Owners speak perfect english.dinner was perfect,very romantic setup and delicious buffet. We also booked a safari through them which we loved,we were the only two on the jeep with knowledgeable driver and we saw elephants with more animals .definitely we are come aging.. Everything is perfect

Owners are a lovely and friendly couple.they try their best to make you feel comfortable.the room is cozy and clean with a nice garden.dinner and brakfast is amazing.Location is great coz it's close to the safari.i booked the morning safari tour through the owner which is fantastic.the driver made all-out effort to find the animals and provided lots of information about the national park and the animals.the driver was funny,knowledgeable and give special effort to make this unforgettable experience. And incredible place to stay! The staff were super lovely and cooked amazing food for us.they organised our safari too which was incredible,our driver was very talented at spotting animals and we saw so many animals! Would definitely recommend this place! We stayed for one night but would have happily stay Longer...

The staff organized a tour for us to Udawalawe National Park. The entire organization was perfect and we really enjoyed the tour with our guide. The guide was really helpful and explained a lot. We saw lots of birds, elephants, water buffalos, deer and also elephants. It was a fantastic impression and we would suggest everyone to take the opportunity and visit Udawalawe National Park.
