The hosts were very friendly and helpful. The food was great and varied. Due to the few options in Udawalawe a big plus. We were helped with the organization of the safari. In addition, the rooms were very spacious.

We loved the homestay and felt really welcomed by the owner and his family. It's a nice place to stay for 2 nights to feel relaxed when roadtripping. We had the best driver for our 8 hour safari, enjoyed the breakfast, lunch and homemade sri lankan dinner. If you want to try a good Ayurvedic massage, ask for it though the owner and he will guide you to his friend, who offers the best treatment. Also a short visit to the elephant orphanage nearby was worth seeing, and you support the orginasation to continue the care taking. Loved this stay, and would come back!

Great location. Fantastic Sri Lankan breakfast included in price. Tea and kettle provided in room. Friendly family run hotel. Host was very friendly and helpful on arrival. Awesome outdoor shower! Very helpful owner and staff, helped us arrange transportation. The place has only 3 houses - great for kids.

One of our favourite stays in Sri Lanka so far! The breakfasts were great we got fruit, pancakes & half a loaf of bread with Dahl every morning :) The hosts went above and beyond always. They gave us a kettle in the room and cutlery so we could eat our own food. We booked a safari through them and it was so easy and a highlight of the trip. Perfect location there’s not much in the area but we were a 3 minute walk from the local supermarket and any other shops. It’s also tucked away on a side street so really peaceful. The pool and subbeds were great for us as we relaxed there all day!

The price for this tour is 50 dollars per person. It is absolutely worth it. Owners are hospitable and polite. You may also ask to wash your clothes. The breakfast and dinner are awesome with a big portion.

Such a cute and friendly resort. The hosts were really proactive with their communication when we booked, and were super friendly while we stayed; even bringing us a cold watermelon juice on arrival! The cabins and the grounds are really picturesque, and have all the amenities you would need. We had dinner at the resort and breakfast the next morning; both were delicious, and the dining area was really nice.
