If you want to stay in Unawatuna the location was amazing. The Villa was our favourite part of going to this location. The view from the balcony was so wonderful. I really loved sitting out and watching all the nature and being in the jungle.

One of the best place to stay. The owner was very polite and served us free bread and butter. He dropped us at mirissa and we left our phone on his car. He ran down 6 km to return the phone. Very humble and honest person.

If I had to note one point, it would be that the bed/pillows weren't the comfiest - they were slightly too hard for us.

Brilliant location, a short walk to the main street where there's lots of bars, restaurants and the beach. But very quiet, in the jungle. From the balcony in our room we could see monkeys. Quite room. Hot water. Good fan. Kitchen facilities. Would recommend.

Hansa Villa is a nice little guesthouse in a very lovely, green and calm area, a 5 minutes walk to the beach. The family who’s running it is very friendly and helpful. I stayed here for 4 days and liked it very much.

5 minutes to beach. Lovely owners. Lovely garden. Lovely monkeys. Kitchen. Fridge. Sunset chanting from the Buddhist centre was enchanting.

Wifi connection was not good and the mattress was not that comfy (innerspring mattress).

One of our best homestays. Really nice and spacious room with a kitchen unit. Our room was on the 3rd floor, so we had a beautiful view into the green. Also, we had some comfortable chairs in front of our room to relax. There is a swab, to dry out the bathroom after showering. The location is perfect, just a few minutes walking to the center and the beach and still very quiet neighborhood (the only ones disturbing it, are the monkeys hopping on the roof sometimes 😄). The hosts are very nice people.

Everything was great and good value of money

Beautiful Guesthouse managed by a lovely family. The room with balcony was nice and comfortable, with clean bathroom and big comfy bed. Its a bit further from the main streets' hustle and bustle but you will get there within 5 minutes walk. The house is quiet and surrouded by jungle. In the morning you will have friendly visitors on the balcony (different from sneaky makaks) eager to have some piece of bread ;)

The hosts are very lovely people. The room was big and comfortable with a lovely balcony. The location was quiet and green and not too far from the beaches and shops. You can have access to a small kitchen which is useful in Unawatuna as restaurants can be expensive. It was a really perfect property.

Very nice and clean room, there is a nice balcony with a view on the monkeys :) In 5 minutes you are at the center where al the shops and restaurants are. The owner is really friendly. I even got a better room than I booked. there is laundry service and a fridge also. Everything you need for a really nice stay!

Loved the people there. They were both do smiley and lovely. Really helpful and very friendly. The rooms were comfortable, had hot water and I was able to do laundry. We had a lovely balcony with a view of the monkeys and birds. We could use the kitchen which meant we could save money. The place was a great price and a short walk into the town and beaches. We ended up staying here for an extra two nights! Loved it thank you

It was nice staying in the Hansa Villa. We had a room in the top floor and we loved it. The view was amazing and my daughter had the chance to fed the monkeys. The accommodation is a nice part of Unawatuna. Just a few minutes walk and you're at the beach.

Very quiet, with a jungle view from the room. Not on the busy road, so really peaceful. The owner, Sanjid, is so helpful and friendly. We really enjoyed our stay. In the morning you can see monkeys in the trees. The monkeys are friendly and calm. Very nice to start our day like this. Definitely recommend to stay here!
