It’s a nature friendly location and a very convenient. They warmly welcomed us and treated us very nicely during our stay at Hantara; not like other places in the area.

Great location near the entrance to Udawalawe. Outside bathroom was great when showering before safari in the dark. They did us a packed breakfast for safari. Lovely people, organised our safari and onward transfer

Everything was perfect.

Really nice hotel in a beautiful garden. We enjoyed the exterior bathroom a lot! The beds and the room was really comfortable. The staff is lovely. And the location is perfect, really close to Udalawawe park. Very good breakfast and dinner.

I’m very happy with my stay here during my time in Udawalawe. The staff were very nice and I also met the owners who were so sweet and kind to me. The room was nice and big.

Excellent and truly magical experience. We stayed in the jungle canopy lodges - the design and location of these are incredible. Attentive and wonderful staff. Do not hesitate to book this - our only regret was not staying longer. The pictures simply do not do it justice

The air con was quite noisy and the outside shower was a bit of a dribble.

It's a beautiful location and the staff were very attentive. They organised a tour for Udawalawe, and our tour guide was exceptional. He stopped to show us small things when other jeeps zipped by, like a gecko and some beautiful rare birds. The meal in the evening was delicious. We had kottu and devilled chicken between us. On arrival, we had a little daylight left, and the owner organised a tuk tuk to take us to a local temple where there were very few tourists, which we really appreciated.

Too many mosquittos, last 200m are not feasible with a low car.

The host was very forthcoming wether we would like a breakfast package for our safari or take breakfast after the safari.

Beautiful place, the rooms and bathrooms were clean, spacious and comfortable. The staff were really nice. One of the staff took us to the river and had show us where to swim and he was really nice and smiling. We had such a great time and would recommend to everyone! And they organise everything for the safari tour :)

It’s very calm, peaceful, in the nature and the staff was extremely nice! They served us with very tasty food and woke up at 5 to prepare us breakfast for safari.

The bungalow was super clean, the shower beautiful, it was quiet and there were many birds around but best about this place is the very kind service crew. They offer what is to offer but without pressure and they give you any info you ask for. We were very happy to stay.

Hard to fault only things that would be worth. Mention is the road into property is rough a track. We had a 4x4 so wasn't a big issue

Great accommodation, almost in the middle of the jungle and right next to the national park. We had to leave a day early, the hosts were really nice and understanding!

The staff were amazing so helpful and couldn’t do enough for us. The food was so tasty. We were right in the jungle and it felt like a paradise. We were so close to both the safari and the elephant orphanage which they organised for us to go too. Amazing stay would love to go back !

The lunch we got for the safari was not the greatest but was ok. Once again the staff are beyond accommodating and nice people!!

Great staff so kind want to be sure everything is taken care of. They booked us a safari for the following day, witch was spectacular. Space was very well maintained amongst the bungalows. Food we had was very good. Felt like good value for money. It is out of the way but we had our own transportation.
