WiFi connection is quite weak, so you really can only send Watsup messages, even Google maps load very slowly. I couldn't open Booking app for instance at all. This is the only thing that could be improved.

This accommodation was very nice and good value for the money. The room is large and clean and there is a nice terrace as well. The garden is very green and the owners are super nice. The lady is cooking super meals just at 1000 lkr. This is big + as the location seems to be a bit away from any other place where you can eat. At least it was my impression. But from the other hand it's very quiet.

This is an amazing place to stay. The hosts Chandhi and Mahesh are both very welcoming. The food that Chandhi prepared for us was the best traditional Sri Lankan food we had on our whole trip and the variety was amazing. Mahesh took us to a local swimming spot which was very beautiful and refreshing. He also arranged transport for us to Lion Rock at 5am so we would see the sunrise and personally dropped us to Pidurangala Rock and collected us afterwards for a small fee. The private pool was great to cool off and the outdoor area was perfect to relax and eat meals. The room was comfortable and the air-conditioning worked well. We loved their little doggy Snowy who loved to hang out and get a cuddle. We felt very well taken care of and would highly recommend staying here.

The owners of the cottages are the nicest people ever! The lady cooked us the most delicious dinner we had in Sri Lanka. The pool was really needed, considering how warm it was. Location very close to the Lion Rock

Chipmunks staying on the roof made party at night time and kept us awake sometimes, but that comes with nature so not realy a problem comparing to everything

Apsolute amazing! The best place we stayed in Sri Lanka, we had perfect vacation place to rest afrer safari or climing the Lion's rock. The private pool is just phenomenal, the food that hosts prepare for you, we had every meal at the accomodation and did not regrate it! Staff - amazing couple willing to help with everything!

Air con was a bit noisy.

Water pressure could have been better, but adequate. A bit off the main areas, so you need transportation to get to and from town. Luckily we had a car and driver, so no issue.

Everything was very nice. Great hosts, both Chundee (sp?) and Mahesh. Breakfast was an incredible spread, served on your porch. Only two dunk pool villas, so very private. Room was very nice. Waking up to the callings of Peacocks - so lovely.

We had the most amazing stay here! We felt like part of their family, the hosts were so welcoming and attentive! The location was perfect, a little bit outside Sigiriya itself however we loved exploring the surrounding areas and seeing the lakes and wildlife. The pool was ideal for the hot weather and the breakfasts served up every morning were so filling and tasty! We were provided with free lifts into Sigiriya town which we were very grateful for. We loved staying here and wishing this family the best of luck for the future.

The most amazing place - a beautiful family, great accommodation and wonderful food. Couldn’t ask for anything better. One of the best places we stayed on our entire 3 weeks in Sri Lanka. You feel like one of the family from the moment you arrive. Truly magical.

Chandi and her family are amazing hosts - this two villa B&B was an excellent and hospitable experience. The rooms are spacious with adequate amenities. Having your own pool is such a great bonus and it was perfect for the hot weather after a day of sight-seeing. Breakfast each morning was a complete feast, served to your patio table each day at a time you choose. The food is fresh, delicious and more than you can eat! Chandi was available for any questions or requests and was always extremely sweet and helpful. They have pets - a dog and a cat, who recently had kittens so that was a bonus as well. The location is out of the way and peaceful - so you won't really be able to walk anywhere but you will enjoy a more natural experience.

Where to start. The main thing we liked about this property was how amazing the family are who run it. They are the most friendly and accommodating people you could meet and they go above and beyond to make you feel comfortable. Chandi is an incredible cook and breakfast is a huge platter of different foods. Mahesh sometimes drove us places free of charge. The property itself is lovely, the little pool is perfect for staying cool and chilling out in. The garden is stunning full of wildlife, iguanas and monkeys etc. It is surrounded by a lake and farms which you can stroll around and all the locals are so friendly giving you a nod and smile. I could honestly write an essay on how amazing this place is but please visit and see for yourself. Oh also snowy the family dog is so cute and friendly. We were so sad to leave and if we ever return to Sri Lanka we’ll definitely be going back.

Perfect bungalows for 2 nights whilst travelling through Sri Lanka with kids. The hosts were very friendly and catered to our every need. The breakfast was yummy and plentiful (eggs, pancakes, toast, roti, fruit, juice and coffee) and we had wonderful dinners on both nights cooked by our host, beautiful home cooked meals, again plentiful! The bungalows had everything we needed and was lovely to spend time in the pool! Would highly recommend!

My wife and I have always prefer to stay in an urban and nature environment. Firstly, I would say that the owners Mr. Mahesh and his spouse Mdm. Chandi has delivered the true Sri Lankan hospitality, they provided personalised services and always suggest the best on what activity we can do around Sigiriya. They even prepared fantastic meals for us based on our taste buds. They have never been pushy and that's the best 👌. Besides that, we have experienced a bombastic self vegetation plantation around the hidden lake cottages, If you are lucky 😃 actually every day is a lucky day, you will hear peacocks, cows, elephants and migration of various bird with their chippig sound and many other living creatures. It's like only ONE Call away and they are there to assist, In fact, Mr Mahesh shuttled us to the main road in order for us to take the bus. Little did we know that travelling by bus was satisfying and this was suggested by the beautiful property owners. Everything was so 👉 on point whereby on our last day, we did feel like we were gonna miss this home. Myself and my wife will definitely introduce this soothing and calm cottage to all our family, friends and those who need suggestions 😊. Our stay has been marvellous!! You feel being in the middle of nature, and breath all its tranquility, you can see a lot of animals while taking breakfast or while relaxing in your own private pool (perfect when you return exhausted and hot from the excursions). Chami, is really lovely and always preoccupied that you get everythings you need. She's an amazing cooking, everything is delicious, breakfast huge and we recommend to ask for dinner there as well, since you get it directly in your own terrace and got very good price.

This was one of the best value for money stays we’ve ever had. Starting with the accommodation itself, it’s incredibly clean, comfortable and the setting in the garden and pool is incredibly beautiful and relaxing. The hosts were just incredibly; breakfast was made perfectly and Mahesh would drive us everywhere we needed to, including for Lion Rock at sunset. Our wonderful hosts could not have done more for us and they made it an amazing couple of days, we didn’t want to leave! Worth every penny.

The hosts are the sweetest people you’ll ever meet! The husband drove us to Pidurangala Rock at 05.00 in the morning and to and from a restaurant in Sigiriya in the evening. The wife made us delicious breakfast and they serve you tea and fresh juices all day, when desired. You can also order lunch and dinner for a small price. The 2 cottages both have their own small private pool and are very spacious and clean! This truly is a piece of paradise!
