Small, boutique hotel in very quiet location. Great.views over the lagoon with a lovely pool. Staff are very attentive and friendly. The owner is a lovely lady who takes pride in her establishment. The included breakfast is very nice. If you ask the owner she will cook you an extremely tasty Sri Lankan dinner for a very reasonable price. I would recommend this option.

The only reason I didn’t give 10 is that it is quite a way from Negombo centre. There is nothing really around it so you either need to get Pickme/uber or just stay at Hiru Lagoon and eat there.

Beautiful little garden and view over lagoon, stylish rooms. The owner is incredibly gracious and helpful. We arrived a bit grumpy after a long drive from Ella but she went out of her way to be kind and help us. She helped us get a Pickme into Negombo and made us dinner the next night at very short notice when she was already very busy.

Nothong we did not like . Guests should be aware there is not much around - we were fine as we booked a 2 night flop before flying , after a month of touring. The owner is a serious but kind lady.

The room was spotless had a beautiful view and offered meals. The owner helped us arrange a taxi to airport when our Pickme taxi app had a problem.

Nothing to dislike

Our stay was one of the highlights of our trip. The accommodation is beautiful, the pool is perfect and the whole place is so clean and comfortable, and very peaceful.. Our hosts were so welcoming and kind. The meal we had in the evening was fantastic and the special New Year's breakfast was full of tradition and delicious. Short tuk tuk ride to the airport, but we wish we could have stayed longer.

Wonderfull property. Super friendly staff. We had dinner and breakfast and both meals were amazing and beyond expectations. This was the most beautiful place we stayed during our 3 week traveling in Sri Lanka. We wished we could have stayed longer at Hiru Lagoon, but unfortunately the holiday was over.

Very kind and helpful hosts. My plane landed very early, so I arrived at Hiru Lagoon early in the morning, the hosts welcomed me, served me coffee and offered me to relax by the pool until the room was ready. Delicious food, both for breakfast and dinner. Near the airport. So it is a very convenient location and a quiet place to spend time after or before the flight. A great view of the lagoon, both in the morning, when the sun greets you, and in the evening when the moon rises

I had a fantastic stay at Hiru Lagoon. The room and bathroom were both clean. The room is spacious and the bed very comfortable. The view on the lagoon is very beautiful and the pool is big enough to cool down and have a nice swim. The breakfast was very delicious and the owner surprised me with a fantastic crab dinner. Just wow!
