A friendly small hotel located in a quiet street but very close to the town centre, market, train station and bus station. All within easy walking distance. Large room with large comfy bed and a good shower in the bathroom. The breakfast was very good. There was a nice outdoor area by the canal to sit and have a drink. The dining room served tasty food for lunch and dinner. The staff were absolutely wonderful. We would stay again.

Location is a little far from many restaurants but that’s not much of an issue and something that can be researched ahead of time.

Lovely staff, accommodated an early check in without charge which was very generous, lovely view out of the room, which was very clean and tidy!

Our only complaint was the bed, it is too soft. This is probably not a fault rather then a choice, as we like hard beds.

Breakfast great, staff wonderful, room great. No complaints they arranged boat trip for us, taxi to airport, and held bags forus so we didn't have to drag them all around on the train and buses, I cannot remember the gentleman who is normally in the office but he was wonderful. Rang and confirmed next hotel had received our train tickets for us (as they hadn't bothered to contact us). At breakfast they even brought out more red papaya just for me because they knew how much I loved it.Walking distance to town and church an attractions etc.

It was a little more expensive than others places in sri lanka. The breakfast was ok but also a little pricy for sri lanka.

Food we ate in the evening which was Chicken /Rice had dried up chicken pieces in it and not at all appetising. The description of the location was false, it said that the centre was 1.3 meters away and in fact it was 650m, the beach described as 650m and was 3.5m by tuk tuk. There were no restaurants in easy reach either. So disappointed as we choose this hotel for the location. As a result we moved to another hotel🙁

Breakfast was ok, if you ate later the fruit was not replenished so not much choice. Staff friendly and obliging.

We arrived after midnight and friendly staff greeted us and took us straight to room. Rooms have good amount of space with wardrobe and desk. Small deck overlooking canal and bathroom with glass shower (such a luxury to not have water everywhere). Breakfast (included) was simple but sufficient, choice of eggs, fruit, toast plus tea and coffee. Short walk to train and bus station and centre area of town. Quiet at night. Will stay there again.

There was no lift but the staff carried bags for you.

It is located in a quiet street within easy reach of the town centre. Nice room with comfy bed and good shower in the bathroom. Good breakfast and friendly, helpful staff. The balcony was a bonus, with views of the canal and church. We will stay again.

Nothing.

Hotel overlooks the canal in the old quarter and is ideally placed for the international airport. The room was spacious, quiet and with a balcony. It was clean with a small but adequate bathroom and came with tea & coffee making facilities. The Wifi in the room could have been stronger but was ok downstairs. Breakfast was simple but sufficient and the restaurant is open late for a beer. The staff and management are very good. Late in the evening, the restaurant manager noted that we wanted to rent bicycles but although new, they were both men’s frames. He immediately requested a new model with a ladies frame which was delivered after breakfast the next morning. The hotel manager is also very good and organised Tuk Tuk transport to the airport at 5:00am, an early wake-up call and small packed breakfast. He was always available to provide advice and guidance and printed our check-in documents as required.
