We loved the homestay and felt really welcomed by the owner and his family. It's a nice place to stay for 2 nights to feel relaxed when roadtripping. We had the best driver for our 8 hour safari, enjoyed the breakfast, lunch and homemade sri lankan dinner. If you want to try a good Ayurvedic massage, ask for it though the owner and he will guide you to his friend, who offers the best treatment. Also a short visit to the elephant orphanage nearby was worth seeing, and you support the orginasation to continue the care taking. Loved this stay, and would come back!

The rating is based on price/value, not everything was perfect for the price there is not much to complain about. Super kind and friendly people and the place covered all of our needs for the 1 night stay. They also offer safari tours, which we didn't know about before, so you may consider that before booking a tour somewhere else. Breakfast was also nice with various things and we were definitely full and satisfied after it.

Room was comfy, clean and nice, although the bathroom door got stucked :) (minor issue) Near by the neighbours were burning a lot of trashes, the smoke was unpleasent but it seems to be everywhere.... Haritha made my wishes come true. When I arrived, I didn't have yet safari booked but already for the next day I could join shared safari. Super great! I stayed 4 nighs, maybe 2-3 could have been enough. Haritha mentioned the near by baby elephant rehabilitation center which was nice addition. He also offered his bike for me to ride which I didn't, because I was a bit afraid to ride on the roads so I was walking. I also requested to have a mango juice without knowing it's not the season yet so he went all over the city to look mangos for me. And he found too :) It was super delicious juice, but remember to say no sugar, if you don't want added sugar. Otherwise sugar is added to juices, (what I cannot understand, why?) That seems to be here in Sri Lanka also like a habit. Overall I had beautiful time on resort! Thank you very much!

The owners of the accommodation are very friendly and helpful. The rooms are absolutely comfortable. The home-cooked food is also great. I booked the accommodation because of the good reviews of the safari and I can only agree with these reviews. The owner of the accommodation does the safaris himself and demonstrates a great feeling and knowledge of the animals. I can really recommend the safari.

We were rather surprised with the 10 % service charge added to the room price. We think it's well deserved, but have never seen a charge like this on a room price and would have liked to have known about this beforehand.

We absolutely loved our stay at Induwara Safari Resort. The hosts are really nice and helpful. We booked a private safari with them and it was amazing. The room was basic, but comfortable, with a nice bed. The bathroom was nice, an excellent shower and also the wifi worked properly which seems to be quite rare in Sri Lanka😆. Lastly the location of the resort is perfect, nice and quiet.

Slightly far from the attractions like the elephant orphanage and main town, but if you’re there just for the safari they pick you up at the hotel anyway.

My favourite guesthouse bedroom in all of Sri Lanka! The room was spotless, the shower was lovely and I really enjoyed having dinner with the other guests. The hosts sorted my safari and I found this place so relaxing. Well worth the money!

We stayed here for 2 nights. The host is very friendly and answers every question. When we arrived we got a freshly made watermelon juice. Our room was very clean and cozy and we had a nice bathroom. There's a food menu, where you can choose between different dishes for breakfast, lunch and dinner. The food is freshly cooked by the mother of the host and was very delicious. Really authentic Sri Lankan Food. We booked a Safari for the next day. We could choose between different time slots for the safari - 3,4,6,8 or 12 hours. We chose 6 hours and got picked up at 05.30 am. It was a private Safari Tour, so the Safari Jeep was only for my husband and me. Our host prepared a picnic basket with breakfast for us. After 3 hours we stopped at a really nice place and ate breakfast. The Safari Tour in Udawalawa Nation Park was insane! We saw a lot of elephants as well as many other different animals. We had dinner two times at the accomodation and it was really good. I can definitely recommend this place if you plan to go on an elephant Safari at Udawalawa National Park.

We were four of us and we stayed in a family room with two large beds. The room was quite spacious and the beds were very comfortable and room and bathroom were clean. We had ordered ahead for dinner. The meal was one of the best we have had. We are Sri Lankans living in the USA and we know what good Sri Lankan food is. Very authentic. The soft drinks they had made and the desserts (watalappan and curd) were simply fantastic. Harith, the co-owner and our host, was professional, courteous, and extremely helpful. We used his jeep to go on a safari early morning. Again, he did not disappoint us. Induruwa Safari Resort is one of the true gems for anyone who wants to stay at a clean, comfortable, and reasonably priced location.

Haritha and his wife were wonderful hosts. We really enjoyed the delicious home cooked meals and the portions were very generous. The room was simple but clean and had a lovely outdoor patio space. However, the highlight was the safari experience with Haritha as our guide. He was so knowledgeable and we had an amazing day deep in the park where we saw a huge diversity of wildlife. We recommend that you opt for all day safari to really make the most of your experience.

The food was exceptional. One of the best selection of curries we had whilst in Sri Lanka. The family who own the resort are super cute. They welcomed us with fresh juice and there was cold bottled water in the rooms which was a lovely touch. They organised the safari for us which was awesome! We seen so many elephants really close up and it was a great experience we’ll remember forever.
