Unreal stay at Inspira Ella! Host's couldn't be more helpful, will give advice on activities, where to eat, , organised a scooter for our stay and a driver to next destination even cooked breakfast around our plans. Breathtaking views, breakfast was delicious, the best we'd had throughout our whole stay in Sri Lanka we had both English and Sri Lankan. Within walking distance to the main town. Will definitely stay again!

It’s a bit far from the center, you have to rent a moto or by tuk tuk, special to return, but this the unique way to fell the nature! Hot water pressure was very low.

The place is amazing, we really enjoy!! It’s really in the middle of the nature!! The rooms is big and with good conditions. The responsible was super kind and help us with everything. The breakfast is good too. I recommend!

The property is located up quite a steep hill, with two of us and both of our bags in a tuk tuk, my partner had to get out and walk (only for a short while!). This was fine for us but may be difficult for those who are less mobile. Steps up to the room itself are also very steep so worth considering whether that is suitable for you too.

Amazing views from the balcony and peaceful location. The room was big and spacious with a comfy bed, sofas to relax on and big windows to admire the view. Bathroom was nice and clean and we were able to make a tea in the room. We liked the location because it was a bit further away from the main road in Ella which was noisy and very busy, but we could still easily walk there for dinner. Good base location for nice walks to Ella Rock and Little Adam's Peak. The host Shadeeth was very helpful. Let us drop our bags off early before check in and arranged a tuk tuk to Ella station for us. He also made a great breakfast - we had fruit and eggs on toast with sausage. Would recommend eating inside as with all locations in Sri Lanka, there are monkeys outside.

The insulation of the room could be better - it did not block out the sound of the dogs barking throughout the night. As we were on the ground floor, we could hear the people staying above us and the staircase at the side of the property made a lot of noise with people walking up and down on it. Note that it’s a steep slope to reach the property - it didn’t bother us but something to keep in mind!

If you are after very comfortable accommodation with breath taking views then this place is where you want to stay. Every morning being met by the view of Ella Rock and the valley below, and very generous tasty breakfast and amazing wildlife. The room is very comfortable it has a bed and lounge, tea and coffee making facilities and a small fridge. My only warning is that it is not accessible by car!!! You can get a car in, however it's not getting back out without some crafty driving and time. The caretaker will assist you with anything you require via Whatsapp including when you are ready for breakfast. It is located on a hill with very steep access, so be ready to walk unless you have a tuk tuk. It is very peaceful and exactly what we needed. There is a ground floor apartment with two further apartments above. If the people above are inconsiderate, expect a little noise. Nomad Cafe not far away has amazing food and delivery if you call and place an order.(Even alcohol)

Shower wasn't great, the one head that had hot water was pretty weak, but in the grand scheme of things it didn't matter. The ad, seemed to indicate it had a bath, but definitely no bathtub.

The view from the balcony is spectacular. Breakfast delicious. The friendly resident dogs were super lovely to wake up too, and the cheeky monkeys hilarious to watch. Big comfy bed and spacious sitting area inside too. Great having a fridge for cold water too. The staff super helpful with organising things. Easy walk into the main street and tourist spots. No air con, which we were concerned about at first, but the overhead fan was enough in the end (travelling march).

Curtains are on 3 sides of the room which are not blackout. This may bother some people but not a problem for us.

Beautiful views, friendly host who worked hard to give you the best stay. Entertaining to watch the monkeys whilst having breakfast on the patio.

Amazing location with close proximity to Little Adam’s Peak and slightly removed from hustle bustle of main street but still in walking distance. The view from our top floor balcony was perfect and breathtaking to wake up to. Best breakfast in Sri Lanka so far. The English breakfast was great, but the local kiribath and katta sambol was the food highlight Staff amazing, everything amazing.

Only reason I gave this a 9 rather than a 10 was because of no hot water to shower.

Would highly recommend this property. Views of Ella gap are stunning and having breakfast overlooking is a highlight. It is about a 10 minute walk from the Main Street, the final portion of which is pretty steep - but so worth it for the views! Shadeeth was very kind and even did our laundry for us at a reasonable price.

In most hotels in Ella you won't have hot water. It's cold-warm. Again, the WiFi isn't perfect but even in £150+ hotels here, the WiFi isn't strong enough to be streaming.

The hotel location is perfect. 10 minute walk to the town and the views are unbelievable. I've stayed in multiple high end hotels here and this is by the far the best value for money. Seriously underpriced. Reviews elsewhere will say they have the best view but if you want the Ella gap and mountain view then this is a great place for itm

The bathrooms need improvement - very damp smelling and wood is starting to rot. The driveway and multiple stairs are very steep, if you do one thing only take small bags! Make sure you have cash for checkout - they don't accept card

Nothing about the property itself, and it wasn't a problem for us, however as a heads up this place is at the top of a steep hill. You can call a Tuk Tuk but it you're limited in mobility you'll likely struggle to get up and down from here.

Shadeeth was a great host, nothing was too much trouble and was great with the local knowledge. The views are wonderful, and sitting with an excellent Sri Lankan breakfast and cup of coffee in the morning looking out over Ella rock was wonderful. The rooms were huge and very comfortable. It's a great spot and great value for money, would definitely go back.

Although we love dogs we must admit that they were very noisy at times especially during the night. Other than that everything was amazing!

We were a group of 6 people that rented all three rooms and we all loved our stay at Inspira Ella! The views from the balconies are second to none (obviously it gets better on the 1st or 2nd floor). The rooms are spacious and clean. There’s no A/C but it’s not necessary at all. The staff are also incredible and will go above and beyond to make your stay even better. There are also A LOT of dogs at the property, which for us was a plus.

Hot water system only had warm not hot water, but that didn't worry us. It was a bit of a walk up the hill to get to the hotel, but was worth it for the views.

The view from the room was amazing! The hotel was within walking distance to little Adam's Peak, nine arches bridge and the town centre. The staff were helpful and served us an amazing Sri Lankan breakfast at the room with curry, rice, string hoppers and fruit. There is also a western option available. We saw monkeys from our balcony too!
