Delicious food, the pool was amazing as the weather was so hot lovely relaxed hotel in a quiet location.

I get cold at night, so an extra blanket would have been nice.

It felt like we were living in a jungle. The pool, the foliage, the birds . . . it was extremely tranquil. The food was excellent! We ate in town a few times, but my partner and I agreed that our favorite meal was at Into The Wild. The staff, Nimesh, Suresh, Sameera, Hashan, Sithija, Achala, and Jesse (the large, sleepy dog) were AMAZING. They made sure we were comfortable and happy our entire stay. They remembered our names and made great recommendations for things to see and do. Smiles all around :)

Staff forgot to bill us correctly so it was a bit of a kerfuffle to send them the remaining amount of money we owed them.

Beautiful pool and location in the jungle. Staff were very friendly and the restaurant was good value and had good, simple food.

The pool area could do with a bit of an update

It’s in a beautiful location and the birdsong in the morning is unbelievable! Big clean rooms and the best cooking for breakfast and dinner! Amazing traditional food! The young team are so friendly and made our stay absolutely pleasant.

Lovely setting & relaxing surroundings. Plenty of bird life in the garden including Indian pitta ☺️. Rooms great - clean, spacious, comfy bed and good shower. Pool an added bonus after a hot days travelling and/or climb up Lion’s rock. Food excellent - breakfast and dinner.

Absolutely nothing

The set up: two small one story building for the guest rooms, one area for reception and restaurant and a small but spotless swimming pool. The staff is smiling and dedicated to your well being; the restaurant offers a simple but home made food. I only regretted not to stay longer.

There were a few power outages in the three days we stayed. However, they didn't last long.

Exciting to be in the middle of the jungle. Staff members were friendly and helpful. Good swimming pool. Nice terrace for reading or sketching the tropical jungle.

The path to the hotel is very rough. If you come with your pwn car drive slowly and take care of the cows, elephants and the leopards.

The hotel in in the middle of the wild. The hotel rooms are large, all with terrace or balcony and closed to the pool. The kitchen made good food to fair prices and the staff is very kind and friendly. The staff is a gang of cool dudes who made your stay comfortable.

Everything went really well but we don’t recommend renting a motorbike with their partners because they don’t stick to their promises.

Work is still progressing on the upper level of the 2nd block. The hand railing on the balcony must be raised to a minimum of 950mm. To low at the moment.

This hotel is rustic beauty in the wild and enjoyed the two nights stay. The staff are super friendly and the food was tasty and very well cooked. Also, it was good to note that the hotel employee many locals, in the area. Quodos to the Owner.

Sunbed cushions are missing, which makes it very uncomfortable to lay on. Breakfast is not really rich in variety, we always got the same food. WiFi was lacking sometimes.

The only problem was the dirt or rather the mud road leading to the property. We had rains during our stay and our car could not reach the property. Our driver called them to ask for a tuk tuk to come fetch us. But for quite some time no one answered the phone. Finally they did and for the rest of our stay we travelled between the tar road and the property by three wheeler.

Except for the access issues everything was more than fine. The bed was comfortable, the bathroom great. The pool very nice and the peace and quiet much appreciated. But most of all: we loved the food! And the Staff were amazing! Es thoothie guys!!

What a wonderful little hotel - perfect pool to relax in, the breakfast was great and the staff were incredible. The staff were so helpful to organise all the local tours and even managed to find us a last minute train ticket from Kandy to Ella - went above and beyond! Thank you so much for a wonderful stay we will be back! 100% recommend!
