We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.

SwitzerlandThe hot water didn't always work well. Sometimes there was no hot water at all and when there was hot water, it was too hot so you couldn't shower. Otherwise a nice hotel by Sri Lankan standards.
I really liked the room, it was very clean, although the hotel itself doesn't necessarily look like that from the outside.

Canada- We asked for room service at 8AM before leaving for a little while in the morning, they eventually came in the afternoon while I was in the room (they knocked and I went to open the door), which is absolutely fine, I went to the rooftop bar to chill for little while. However, "someone" from the hotel also came during we hard dinner. We know because some stuff was randomly moved: they moved a glass and a water bottle next to the bed, they moved one bag from one side of the room to the other, etc. It seemed extremely random, and it felt like someone was looking for an excuse to just come in the room. I didn't appreciate that. From that point on, we told hotels and homestays that we'd specifically ask for room service and that we don't want anyone going in our rooms. - Wi-Fi was just okay, like 5mbps both ways.
- Best accommodation in Jaffna - Nice welcoming with cold towel to refresh and juice - Staff always friendly - Amazing buffet, real Jaffna food - Room was spacious, clean and comfy - The rooftop bar was nice. Not the cheapest obviously - nit/anodecdical: I'm white, and Jaffna is less touristic, which means foreigners get more attention. Normal. However, the buffet is open to public and a few teenagers walked in and started taking selfies next to our table, making sure I was in the background. They were too shy to ask, like most curious people in Jaffna. So they stare and/or take picture from far. The staff definitely saw what was going on and didn't do anything. I wasn't too bothered by it tbh, but my expat Tamil wife from Jaffna was, so she told them to f- off, and that it would've been absolutely fine if they would've asked. The staff then quickly stepped in, asked them to leave, and apologize. I think they handled the situation very well.

Sri LankaAs most have said, the bathroom is extremely small. You need to walk into the shower cubicle to be able to close the door. The room service menu was a bit too spicy for our taste. Would've been good if they had pre-warned us. Didn't have too many options either. Rooms don't have much of a view. Also would've preferred armchairs in the room instead of the stools they had. All in all can't complain given the other hotel options in Jaffna
The staff were all very helpful, professional and friendly. It was probably one of the best customer service experiences I've had on the island. The hotel contained many little details which most other hotels in the south don't have, like rubber slippers, an actually stocked mini bar, shoe shine, etc. Loved the decor/furniture in the restaurant. The breakfast spread was pretty decent as well.

Staff were very friendly and helpful. In particular, the chef was very understanding and accommodating of allergies and other dietary requirements. The room and hotel overall were spectacular. Will definitely be recommending to others.

ThailandA bit overpriced for what it was - one would get the same standard for half the price in Colombo. Everything looks nice, but is not very practical. The room, while large, had a very small bathroom - one had to step into the shower stall in order to close the door/access the toilet. Chairs, while a traditional-looking design, were not very comfortable and useless for working on one's laptop at the 'desk' (which had very low overhead lamps hanging over it, which I kept bumping my head on). I would have used the restaurant more often, but it had the same uncomfortable chairs. Payments at the bar and restaurant, while priced in LKR were converted and billed in USD.
The hotel is fairly new and is well-appointed. Everything works. It is next to a shopping centre, with a supermarket, in the centre of town. Staff are very friendly and helpful.
