Not a single thing that we didn’t like

Not for the faint hearted 😁 My wife and daughter saw snake, Komodo dragons, lots of insects and bugs. I was ok but they were not very keen on the reptile/insects experience and seeing holes on the net in the bed.

Loved everything about the hotel, staff and the whole experience.

Having no ac in the rooms is part of the concept of the place but in our stay in April it was pretty hot, there could be other green solutions to cool the room other than just a ceiling fan.

Location is accessible, near ella and the coast which is good, sets in a very beautiful land of rice fields with breathtaking views, we had a very beautiful nature and agriculture immersed experience, the restaurant is really good and the pool is amazing with an amazing view over the rice fields.

Lovely location surrounded by paddy fields against a backdrop of the mountains. Simple but comfortable rooms with great balconies. Helpful staff and good food. Kids really liked the bicycles

The vast array of evening bugs were less to our kids liking - especially if you get a room with an open roofed bathroom!

This hotel is in a beautiful rural location off the beaten track and on the edge of the paddie fields. We loved the rooms which were very eco in style but it's worth noting you sleep under mosquito nets with ceiling fans - there is no A/C - we found this fine but our teenage kids were less keen! The setting is just wonderful and the pool fantastic. We ate at the hotel and really enjoyed the food - they had a mix of Sri Lankan and South Asian cuisine. Service was excellent. Each hut comes with mountain bikes - we enjoyed a quick cycle round the local area. We only had one night but wish we had more.

The rooms would have been better with air conditioning

The pool was beautiful! Also the view was of the paddy fields was very peaceful. Best of all though was the food…utterly delicious, beautifully presented and true ‘from the field to the fork’ fare.

Some personnel radiated a diffidence reminiscent of chain hotel where they were not personally committed to guest satisfaction

Nothing at all

Waking up in the middle of the nature, the exceptional food, the sound of peacocks like it’s normal to hear!! Our butler Dilani took good care of us and made sure that our stay was superb.

We stayed in a room at the rice paddies and the entrance door could not be properly locked which did not feel safe. Even if you locked it one could easily open it from outside. The same with the door to the outdoor bathroom. One needs to be aware that in the afternoon there are tiny flies around the pool area which are biting and it makes it very unpleasant to lay there.

If you like to disconnect from stress and hectic this is the right place as the hotel is located in the rice paddies and very peaceful. The food in the restaurant was excellent.

After a long drive from Ella it was wonderful to arrive at Jetwing and just relax. Without a doubt the most relaxing part of our journey. We read and relaxed which is exactly what we needed.

I had the most incredible experience at this beautiful resort. First of all, the location was absolutely stunning. Situated amidst the lush greenery of the jungle, the resort offered breathtaking views and serene surroundings. The bungalows were beautifully designed and blended perfectly with the natural environment. But what truly made our stay exceptional was the amazing staff, especially our butler Thiloke. He went above and beyond to ensure that we were well taken care of and had everything we needed. His attentiveness and warm hospitality made us feel truly pampered. The resort also boasted an exceptional restaurant with a wide variety of delicious food and drinks. We were impressed with the quality and taste of the dishes, and the drinks were equally delightful. The whole dining experience was a treat for our taste buds. One of the things that stood out to me the most was the resort's commitment to giving back to the local community. They donate a significant portion of their earnings to the local communities, and three years ago, they even funded the construction of a church. This level of social responsibility was truly admirable and made our stay even more meaningful. Overall, I cannot recommend this resort enough. From the stunning location and beautiful bungalows to the exceptional staff and philanthropic initiatives, it exceeded all our expectations. If you're looking for a place that combines natural beauty, luxury, and a genuine sense of community, this resort is the perfect choice.

They are very bad of communicating with booking.com. We needed to change few dates. More than one month they could not sort out after many attempts. Manager at the hotel just wanted the money for the days we didn’t stay. Had to call booking.com many time for this. We had to prove to them that there was no communication to booking.com from there side by getting a email sent from booking.com. Finally on the day of checking in they had no choice but not to charge us. They also made mistake by charging for something twice at check out. When we asked where that bill came from they took out the bill but no apologies for the mistake from the manager who was there. Found the experience unacceptable from this hotel.

Beautiful location and very tranquil! Food was great and authentic. Restaurant staff were lovely and helpful. Pool is a good size. Cycling was a great option to have.

The chalets have an amazing view. The pool is very clean and the deck chairs over looking the rice paddies and mountains make for the perfect relaxation setting . The staff are very attentive and friendly, they try to accommodate all requests from guests. This has been one of the best places we have ever stayed at. Highly recommend .
