We stayed here on our first two nights of the trip as it makes a great stop off point between Colombo and the east coast. Great for visiting Sigiriya and rock temples via car or Tuk Tuk (the latter very cheap). We stayed in a super deluxe on top floor overlooking the amazing pool. Food and drink are very reasonable given there are no other options within walking distance really. There's a nice chinese in main building. Staff are super friendly and attentive. Loved it

On arrival, the front of the hotel is somewhat underwhelming, which immediately makes you question your choice. However, you soon discover that all the magic is hidden at the rear of the property. The L-Shaped building encloses a beautiful garden area with a lake and surrounding woodland, teaming with wildlife from monkeys to eagles. Each bedroom overlooks the garden and the 75m long swimming pool which is magnificent. The outdoor bar and restaurant serve excellent food and beverages and the indoor Chinese restaurant is definitely worth a visit. It is the perfect location for visiting all the attractions surrounding Dambulla, including the safari park and the magnificent Lion Rock in Sigirya. A fabulous hotel in a beautiful place.

incredibly beautiful exterior, swimming pool and view which take all attention from the building itself (a bit massive). the room was extremely big and pleasant, clean! we even had small attention on arrival for my birthday! the restaurant is very diverse (maybe a bit too European) and very good! the best part is still the staff, incredibly nice and attentive to our needs or simply happy to talk!

United KingdomThe grounds are located so far from anything that if you don't have sunshine, there really isn't much to do. The air conditioning in the room didnt have a remote so you had to get up in the middle of the night
We unfortunately had rain badly the whole time we were there which put a damper on the mood as you really do need sunshine to make the most of your stay here. As we were staying at another Jetwing in Colombo, the staff allowed us to move transfer over our final nights accommodation to Jetwing in Colombo where the weather was much nicer. It really was a shame because the hotel was clean, staff were great, food was delicious and we would have loved to have stayed our final night. If you have the opportunity to stay here I really recommend it!
