Nothing : We enjoyed everyting during our stay although it was just for one night ! We would have stayed longer just to relax if our tour was not already planned !

Large clean rooms with porch facing forest, amazing pool. The best thing was the staff being extremely nice and helpful, especially Charnikka who was so kind and helpful.

The food wasn’t great and not particularly cheap

Amazing host who couldn’t do enough for you. we stayed in the deluxe apartment which was lovely. We were able to watch the sunset on our balcony. Loads of wildlife including land monitors roaming around the grounds

Pool a little murky! I would hate to say anything negative about the hotel though as it was absolutely wonderful and you couldn't ask for better people working there.

Stayed x2 nights so that we could do a safari and then chill out a bit too. Wonderful reception with cold towels and watermelon juice. Very lovely staff, particularly the manager Chanuka - who was really warm and welcoming and always on hand to answer questions and Shamika the chef who cooked wonderful meals- there is a fairly varied menu, we had fruit, eggs, pancakes and toast with coffee/tea for breakfast, and chose pasta for lunch and fabulous chicken curry for dinner. Slightly more expensive than other places we had been but you are fairly isolated and we had a suite, which had x2 rooms and a bathroom. The large room with the balcony was incredible - you are among the tree tops with the sounds of the peacocks echoing around. We loved Socks the very friendly cat! The hotel also organised a safari for us in Udawalawe park, which was a highlight of the whole trip thanks to Pasindu our jeep driver and guide who was endlessly kind and very informative- finding the best opportunities for seeing wildlife and being able to take whatever photos we wanted of elephants, jackals, crocodiles, monkeys, bee eaters, sea eagles and peacocks among others. All in all a super place with amazing people that was a perfect base for seeing the park.

We enjoyed the hospitality

The hotel is very new and clean and the rooms are attractively furnished. The staff were very helpful and accommodating. Our room had a beautiful balcony to watch the birds.

Really friendly helpful staff, beautiful facilities and big family room. Pool was even better in real life and lovely after a safari. Hotel organised our safari and we had a great driver and guide. Would definitely stay here again.

I was very impressed with the way they communicated with me giving me advice on which buses I needed to catch so I could arrive from Ella. From the moment we arrived at the accommodation we were greeted with smiles and gratitude. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. The rooms were clean and comfortable with a decent size bathroom I also liked the pool and the jungle location. The food was great and well prepared especially the curry and rice. The safari was organised so we could be up early on the morning we checked out and have our breakfast when we returned. Only stayed the one night but could have stayed one more to relax with the nature.

Beautifully designed and maintained property. Staff were very helpful in arranging trips and travel. Great food by Shamika and Chanuka looked after all the arrangements brilliantly.

Nothing - it was an amazing stay

This hotel was fantastic!! Very clean, very peaceful, the pool was warm. The hospitality from the staff was great and made us feel very welcome. The food is cooked by Shamika, which was some of the best food we have ever tried. Very authentic and cultural experience, the curry and rice is a must try. Special thanks to chanuka as well for making our stay very enjoyable. The hotel is perfect location to see the elephants in the national park. Took roughly 5 mins by Jeep to get there. We saw around 40 wild elephants, deers, crocodiles and national birds - highly recommend!

Surcharge when paying by card (+3%)

Super friendly and helpful staff, spacious private huts with balcony, air conditioning and great coffee from a proper espresso machine. Super responsive communication for organisation of transfers and safari.

The takeout breakfast was a bit average, but the staff did warn us that the breakfast is much better at the hotel than in the box and we’d enjoy it more if we ate in after our safari.

Spacious, clean rooms. Lovely warm swimming pool. Really friendly staff. Great aircon in the rooms. Big balcony with a leafy vista. Tasty meals. In fact, I’d suggest eating all your meals here if you’re visiting in the off season as the options outside a really limited.

wonderfull cook, kottu rotti was really nice ! we had a safari at the Udawalawe national park, that the hotel organised, and it was amazing. Our guide and driver Pasindu was perfect, great knowledge of the area, the animals, passionate and kind !
