Minor thing; our room was ready a bit later than check-in time, but we could wait in the breakfast area. Also, next time I would go for room with AC because it was a bit too hot to sleep without.

We had very nice stay in the jungle Villa! The owners are a very friendly, happy and helpful family. The room and bathroom were clean and had good curtains. Also the breakfast is super delicious and a lot! Lastly the location was also a bit away from the big road, which was nice!

The breakfast is very modest so don't expect too much.

I stayed here for 10 days and absolutely loved it. It's in the jungle but close enough to the beach. Very quiet space, has everything, including hot water which is sometimes a rare find in Sri Lanka. Wifi works and is pretty fast. You also have laundry option for additional fee of 400 rupees (under 2 euros). So overall, very happy and would come again!

I stayed at Jungle Villa for 16 days and really enjoyed my accomodation. First of all i', grateful to host Isuru and his family for their kind service! They helped me till the last minute with my every need and questions. Every morning they served an amazing breakfast with fruits, coffee, toast and eggs, whatever surfer might need)) Coffee machine and laundry available on the Villa. One of the best spot for surfing - Kabalana beach is available within 10 min walk or 3 min ride a motorbike. Apartment located in quiet and peaceful place with jungle around.

There's nothing not to like.

Everything. The family hosting are exceptionally kind people. They feel like my own family. I stayed here one night and immediately decided this was the place for me to set up long term. I had to house hope for 3 weeks before a room was available again and every place I stayed in those 3 weeks (a total of 6 places) were nowhere near as good, and some even cost twice as much. Don't look further if you want to be at peace, get local feel and absolute value for money.

This hotel is such an amazing hidden gem in the jungle! If you are looking for a calm & peaceful, immersed in nature place, here you go! I absolutely loved the owners, they were very nice and always available for any requests. The breakfast is something else! I will miss the fruit plate and great tea they prepared for me every day. Thanks a lot! Definitely would like to come back:)

We liked the location, close to the beach but still somewhere green and quiet. Clean room, comfortable bed and a little patio in front of the room. The family that owns the place are lovely and breakfast was tasty (big plate of fruit, eggs, toast). Excellent value for money!

I prefer more local breakfast - but still the big plate of fresh fruits was nice. They quickly organized a scooter to rent, but it was not in good condition (light and mirror defect), they could have been a bit more sympathetic about it. I expected a more „social“ vibe

A little tired of the same breakfasts. With the same cost of food, you can at least change them periodically so they don't get boring.

Very friendly and courteous staff, beautiful grounds and proximity to a great surfing beach. There is a kitchen where you can cook your own food and a refrigerator. Convenient desk for work. Quite remote location, but you can walk to the road in 5 minutes at a quiet pace. There is a washing machine that guests can use.

the room we stayed in was quite small and without A/C but that was fine because the hotel has many hang out areas and a small porch in front of each room :). Isuru gave us a second fan so the room wasn’t very hot.

This sweet little hotel is a hidden gem in Kabalana/Ahangama. A short walking distance from Kabalana beach with many nice restaurants around (Trax is just down the road). Isuru and his family live next door and are super helpful and welcoming. The Guesthouse has a great vibe and is a very good place to meet other travelers. The breakfast was good too!

Jungle Villa is a hidden gem - I absolutely loved the place. It is super peaceful, tucked away in the jungle, tranquil atmosphere, you can't hear the busy mainroad or train but still close enough to walk to the beach and surf spot. Rooms are comfortable and offer enough space. The family who runs the place is super lovely and helpful, so is the staff there. Coffe and breakfast is amazing in the morning. I ended up staying there longer than I booked. Definitely would go back there again.

I would have liked hot water shower but as it was a much cheaper rate I understand why it didn't have it. Even though it poured with rain we had a good stay. A La Carte restaurant literally over the road as well, great vegetable curry ;)
