We loved everything about this stay

Our stay here was excellent. The staff were so friendly and helpful. The rooms were clean and comfortable & exactly like the photos. The restaurant upstairs was amazing.

Floor was abit dirty, but everything else is clean

Location is near city centre and free tuktuk pick up from train station, friendly staff, tuktuk driver worked for the hotel and brought us around that night, he didn't ask for any money in return but we gave a token in appreciation. Breakfast is plenty

This place is a gem. The room is comfortable. Great value, great location. Staff are all so kind, warm, and accommodating. The pizzas are superb and reasonably priced. We highly recommend Kandy City View!

Kandy City View Hotel exceeded our expectations in every way. The room was incredibly spacious, offering more than enough room for a whole family, although only two of us stayed there. The affordability of the prices was a pleasant surprise, especially considering that all our basic needs were taken care of. Our stay was exceptionally comfortable, and the room was a perfect retreat after a day of exploring Kandy. We opted for the package with breakfast included, and the hotel went above and beyond by arranging transport to the railway station on our checkout morning and providing a convenient takeaway breakfast. The staff at Kandy City View Hotel were not only friendly but also incredibly helpful throughout our stay. Their warmth and willingness to assist made our visit to Kandy even more memorable. If you're looking for a welcoming and comfortable stay that won't break the bank, this hotel is an excellent choice.

The WiFi was a bit slow, and the cable tv connection didn't work. I asked them to fix the issue, but they never did.

The location was very close to the city. I ordered food from their rooftop wood fired pizza place, and it was really nice. My room was very clean and had a comfortable bed.

Would be far better to be served a local type of breakfast instead of the boring “international” one. Little view from my room /balcony so a misleading name of the guesthouse ☺️

A colourful (slightly teared down) small guesthouse in the hills above the Kandy Lake. Still close enough to walk to the town centre. Much appreciated being picked up at the railway station for free in a tremendous rain. The staff also provided a hair dryer on request. Convenient with an OK pizza restaurant at the top floor.

Wouldn't recommend it for those looking for a great view (although there's nothing to complain about) or find it difficult to handle stairs But it was not our requirement so we had a wonderful stay 😄

Location a little up to the mountains but when you want to go to thr lake it will be around 10 min to walk. Everything was so nice, clean and comfortable. Hotel staffs were amazing also. We had super delicious breakfast with beautiful mountain view.
