Awesome room, almost everything was near perfect. Great bathroom with all modern amenities (and almost the size of the room itself). One of the best breakfasts and dinners we had during our Sri Lanka visit). The staff was extremely friendly. We had booked 2 rooms.

Nothing, it was great!

For the price we paid, this far exceeded expectations! We were expecting a pretty basic hotel, but the room, bathrooms and service were absolutely fantastic! The staff were really lovely to us made us feel very welcome. We felt safe walking from the hotel to a bar 10 minutes away and the views from our balcony as well as the hotel’s breakfast restaurant were lovely.

Only small thing is that outside of the room the facilities could do with some small improvements. There isn’t a bar and the restaurant is quite dated. That said we would have gone out for dinner and drinks anyway as Kandy has lots of nice places to try.

This hotel was such good value for money! The room was huge with modern amenities and a lovely bathroom. The mini fridge was stocked and it has an amazing view of Kandy. We also loved the location… everything was a short walk so you can get around the city easily. The breakfast was also tasty. We ordered room service the day we got there for lunch as we were really hungry and it came quickly and was a high standard. Would recommend and definitely stay again.

Breakfast could be improved

Room was large and clean, nice view on the hills. Drivers working for the hotel (Mike and his son) were amazing people and we had a great trips with them. To go anywhere you need a tuktuk (which is always near so not a biggie). I was surprised how big and busy Kandy was, tons of traffic etc

A very nice place, the staff - especially in the restaurant - is very helpful. Tasty breakfasts with large selection. The rooms are large, clean and with a great view!

Difficulty sleeping on my second night, due to noise in the ceiling (some sort of animal, scratching and running around!)..

Great views, fabulous room, clean hotel, lovely staff! Helpful staff, happy to arrange transfers/tours etc. I did tours with Roshan and Michel, as arranged by the hotel- very good and helpful tour guides- thank you!

The food was unpleasant (we had dinner and two breakfasts) - not fresh, cold and soggy, with the protein items being dried out and the quality of ingredients really low. I'd avoid breakfast in this hotel entirely. The restaurant was dated (mouldy chairs and walls and ceilings crying for a renovation). Nitpick - water pressure in the shower could be that little bit better :)

The room and the shared areas were very clean and nicely decorated for Christmas (visited during Christmas time). We were greeted with a drink by polite staff. The room was equipped with all necessities and more. We did not require much help from the staff, but when we did, they were pleasant and courteous. The waiter in the restaurant - an older gentleman - was incredibly kind and made our stay even nicer - thank you.

We loved everything about Kandy Hills. Our room was great overlooking the lush hills of Kandy. Breakfast is served at an open terrace which has magnificent views of the forests. The property is within a walking distance to the lake.

The location is great , close to Kandy View point. Rooms are spacious, super clean. They also have splendid views of the city. Staff is very friendly and helpful. They even packed breakfast for me on my last day as we were rushing.

Had a wonderful experience at Kandy Hills. Our room was especially nice and comfortable and the staff very attentive. The highlight was the driver, Michael, for the airport pickup the hotel arranged for us. Michael ended up being our guide for four days. He gave us a great personalized experience and was very friendly. Highly recommend him to any travellers!
