Supply less amount of sugar and coffee. Solo powder water heater. So there is a hot water problem.

Friendly staff. The room is clean and large. Good for the price range. Wifi is slow. There was a pool. There is a budget room for a low price but not recommended.. There is a microwave but I think it's not use in very long time. Good for relaxing.

There is no restaurant like it says on booking. We could hear everything from the room and everyone could hear from outside the room, no soundproof at all.

There was no rack or chair in the room for the clothes. Just a closet, which smelled moldy when opening it and another closet which was totally useless without any shelves in it. We used the two chairs from the balcony. They were not comfortable to sit on anyway. There was a kettle but no socket nearby. You could only use the socket next to the bed and put the kettle on the bed because the socket is too high to leave the kettle on the floor. Opening the closets of the kitchen facility on our floor I noticed it was very dirty inside and an unpleasant smell came out. Some pots and bowls very moldy. I wouldn’t wanna use it. At 7:15 am in the morning the staff was sitting on the couch in the TV area talking and laughing so I woke up from the noise. Only when I opened the door complaining that I wanted to sleep they became more quit. For one or two nights staying in Kandy it is okay because the price is ok.

We stayed 1 night at The Queens Mount Ridge. The staff was friendly. Bedroom and bathroom were clean and the bed was very comfy. We liked that there are only two rooms on each floor and a TV area where you could sit and chill. Further there are kitchen facilities on each floor, so we could chill our drinks, what we liked. It is a little more far from the City Center (about 35 min. walking distance) but going down to the main road you can catch one of the busses passing by.

It is a bit difficult to walk up the road which has a great slope . But it is worth the view and proximity to the tooth temple.

First off there's a lot of errors on the Booking.com page - Not with pictures - The pictures are accurate. It's the details in the text. Firstly, if you're a Sri Lankan they want you to pay an advance - Despite the page saying no prepayment required. The hotel only communicated this to me in the morning when I was traveling to Kandy. I was suspicious and tried calling the number listed on Booking.com - for one hour no response - just as I was almost about to book another property, the manager picked up and apologized explaining it's because of high levels of fraud locally and said they should've communicated it earlier. Fine. His sincerity convinced me to continue. When I got to the property the next hiccup - the staff. It's not that they're rude - they're non-existent. In-between check-in and check-out I hardly saw any staff in the building. Great for privacy. Not so much if you want help like fresh towels. Or even fresh linen since some of the blankets were dirty. Also despite what Booking.com says, they don't have a restaurant or serve meals. If you're a local you might be comfortable using an online delivery app like PickMe or Uber. But if you want your meals at the property then think twice. Honestly, if they can fix these the hotel would easily elevate itself up a few stars.

For the price it's a great deal as long as you're aware of the compromises. It's got nice rooms (including clean washrooms), working hot water, and a nice pool. To top it off, the views are amazing especially from the roof top. Fairly close by to Kandy city (5-10 mins) by a cab as well. Overall, a great hotel for a short stay. But if they can fix the things mentioned below they'd be perfect

The place was good but, something was not available at that time. We couldn't use the pool and they did not provide breakfast or dinner so we had to face a problem with providing our meals.

We booked this accommodation purely because of the rooftop pool & we were very disappointed with the management after we arrived & were told that the room we'd booked didn't include use of the rooftop pool. When we made the reservation the room we booked (budget double room) clearly stated that use of the rooftop pool was included in our booking. I had to speak to a manager on the phone about this discrepancy & he was very abrupt with me, stating that we were required to pay extra if we wished to swim in the pool. I asked him to look on Booking.com as it states very clearly pool use is included. He still refused & requested us to pay more. Furthermore our booking stated that wifi was available in all areas, free of charge, but we were told on check in there was no wifi anywhere except the foyer 2 floors up from our room. Just be aware when you're making your booking that the facilities detailed may not actually be included in the price!

It is a little bit hilly and not many shops around the area. But you get what you pay for and it is well worth the money.

It is a new building that looks like it was rushed to be opened. There are lots of little things that need to be completed to get the hotel up and running properly. None of these will stop you from enjoying your vacation but they do need to be completed.
