We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.

KenyaVery good experience. Beautiful location. Lovely to watch the life unfold at the river banks. In the night the jungle sounds are loud and beautiful. The included breakfast is one of the best we’ve had during our travels in Sri Lanka. We will return on our next visit to Kandy.

Sri LankaThe bathrooms were not clean at all, the commode seat was surrounded by ants, used soap was given to us, there were no tissues at all. Screeching and banging sounds from the A/C. The mattress was vibrating , the place is not at all what is shown in the photos. The television was not working. And when asked about all these. We didn’t get a proper reply. The staff were not responsible enough to bring back an answer. They were rude, irresponsible. Not worth a penny!

We had a very comfortable stay here and we'd highly recommend Kandy Riverside Villa as a perfect place to stay to relax, with easy access to Kandy. A family member also provides a good taxi service, taking the stress out of transport needs.

Canadajust after midnight there were 3 raps on my door. I kept silent. I few minutes later there was an attempt to put a key into the cylinder, but because I had kept my door key in the lock the attempt to enter my room thinking that I was in a deep sleep was unsuccessful. The trying went on for about 5 minutes. The incident ruined my comfort and confidence in this hotel.
