The jacuzzi in the bathroom needs some love but nothing that can ruin your stay..

Room was enormous.. Literally. Huge comfy bed with a beautiful view and direct access to the terrace. The two guys working there (sorry for not remembering your names) were really great. Always there for whatever you need, ready to help out. From early morning breakfast to ideas where to go or eat. Welcoming drinks and stunning views over Kandy. Don't be threatened by some comments about not being able to find a ride to them.. Even at night you can always find someone to get you there and be sure to bargain.

Not to do with the hotel but watch out for tuk tuks trying to scam you by pretending not to know the way to the hotel and driving off route then trying to ask for more cash.

Location can be a challenge. Recommend you have your own hired car because it’s difficult to get drivers to go to property for pick up

Really good value for money. Modern interior and very clean. Rooms spacious and a great view from the balcony. Location not walkable to the city, this was not an issue for me as I found Kandy to be very hectic and enjoyed staying in a more quiet and relaxing area.

Wish we could have stayed longer.

Extremely comfortable room and the view at sunrise from the balcony was jaw dropping. I especially loved the view from the bathroom. Excellent value compared with other places in Sri Lanka.

We didn’t have warm water in the shower, the curtains never were changed (they were eaten by moles). A bit dusty curtains in toilet.

The view from the shared terrace was great. It’s a 45 minutes walk down to the city which we can recommend (during the day) if you like to do a little exercise. The staff was really nice and helpful!

Some drivers get a bit lost getting to the hotel - but they get there in the end. No problems at all with the hotel- I loved it!

The view is amazing!! I was well looked after - the boys are very kind and accommodating. The room is very comfortable & it also has a wonderful view (complete with a visit from a couple of peacocks)! It's only about 15 minutes drive out of the city -& it's definitely worth being a bit further out to have some peace away from the noise & bustle, along with the views. They took great care to fulfill my request for gluten free breakfast with no problem - thankyou. They also helped me when arranging a driver to Nanu Oya- there was some discussion with pricing & explaining directions to the hotel on my behalf which I appreciated. Vishwa is a very interesting person to speak to & we had some lovely chats.

Accommodation in a hotel with breakfast in a quiet part of Kandy, on a hill above the city with a beautiful terrace view. Clean, spacious room with air conditioning, two large beds, and a private bathroom with a toilet. Running hot water, helpful and friendly staff, and the option to pay by card.

I loved everything. No complaints.

The location was very good. Away from the main city. Very peaceful and quiet. The sunset view from the terrace was just excellent. The rooms are good and spacious. Overall, a very good experience! The host Vishwa is super nice and helpful :)

Small thing like constant dripping from roof onto metal sheet outside room could be heard all night. Did not mention it, so they did not have a chance to correct it to be fair. I would stay again if I was I Kandy again.

You should come for the beautiful view and sunset. The balcony is nice and the staff was always polite.

Hot water depends on the weather as it is solar heated. On a cool and rainy day a shower was very brisk! I was there 5 nights...had to request that the room be refreshed.

The view is simply astounding. Hotel is at the top of one of the hills surrounding the city. It's a 20 minute (about 420 rupee) tuk tuk ride from city center. Staff is friendly and helpful, though only Vishwa speaks good English. Meals are good though mostly vegetarian

I had to go down the lobby twice because phone wouldn’t work , toilet wouldn’t flush and shower did not get hot the first night. Next morning was ok.

My wife and me spent 9 days at the Kandy Unique Hotel: we walked in the mountains, through tea plantations, and visited temples. We used to have 1 hour walks to the city center and returned to the hotel by tuk-tuk. The mountain view from the hotel terrace is magnificent, especially at sunset. Very friendly staff. Many thanks to Vishwa for delicious breakfasts and dinners. We had dinner 7 times and every time it was something new! Our opinion of Sri Lankan cuisine has grown even more

I can't fault this place it is a little was out so finding it was bit tricky if your driver not local but well worth the trip to top.

This place Is amazing the views are breath taking. Yes it a little drive out of Kandy 15 min tuktuk but if u want an exceptional views this is the home stay. My room massive king bed with open balcony over looking the city. Vishwa amazing host, him and his team look after from booking tuktuk, welcome drink and talking with me giving me local knowledge. I had a great stay shame I could done longer. The breakfast all home made the coconut pancaks are my favourite 😍. Thanks for welcoming to your home.
