The hotel was really good. We get the upper floor room with panoramic window. The room was bright with good view. Also it was very spacious and clean. The staff were very friendly and helpfully.

However, I didn't like the fact we had booked 3 x double rooms that were confirmed, yet upon arrival they said they don't have the booking so one room is not available anymore and the hotel is fully booked. Yet there was also a "live line" outside or something (unsure what thay was about)...so they asked if we can take 2 rooms to sleep by three which was not OK since the 6 of us each came with our partners and that would have been weird. Upon declining they said they will "upgrade that one missing room" without charge, however, at the end we received 3 x double rooms that were pretty much the same, which is not really an upgrade if you had booked it in advance. Therefore, knowing there were some people queing outside for a room, it seemed strange that they wanted to put us in two rooms instead, without offering to decrease the amount, yet, when declined, suddenly a room was available, even it was said hotel is full. We ended up getting in some form of calm disagreement about the state of some rooms(bathroom conditions were quite poor), also since none of the rooms were pre-prepped, as they weren't expecting us. They did later, put on the sheets, gave us towels etc., but we did not find the rooms to fit the description or photos. Overall, we ended up paying in cash upon check-in, as required, and left to our rooms. However, after the stay,, the property declared we had booked the place but "cancelled", so I received a message of a potential fee which was not OK at all, knowing we did stay, paid in full upon check-in, regardless what was going on....that left a bitter aftertaste...

Staff were friendly, location-walking distance from the lake and main Kandy area, which was nice.

breakfast very expensive just providing bread toast and omelette in LKR 1,000 .other places have very good breakfast with fruits , juices and srilankan cuisine . Kandly view staff is not taking care of the guests properly and providing only limited items , i need to ask him to provide tea at least then he provide. i stayed in the property almost 8 times but still they dont consider providing good services to loyal customers .. rooms are located in roof top and staircase so high no lift facility , how to climb this high with senior citizens .. must improve facilities to get good customers

few rooms have good view but balconies look fragile and dangerous to stand on .. room bad sheeets are of poor quality , no entertainmant in rooms ,

The location was perfect - close to The Temple of the Sacred Tooth Relic 15 minutes by tuk-tuk. ( 2.3 km )The hotel had great facilities and was very convenient. The rooms were spacious, clean and well-maintained. The beds were very comfortable and the amenities were great. The staff at this hotel were so friendly and helpful. Specially Mr.ajith (receptionist)They made our stay so enjoyable and comfortable.

There was an issue with the bathroom. Its door lock had been broken and had to get bath when the door open.But bathroom was cleaned as I expected. And also when I reserve the hotel I saw the detailed facility of private pool. But it was not in the room as private. It was at outdoor from the hotel. Those were the issues nothing more.

It was excellent experience of spending time there. Room is properly managed and cleaned one.There were little issues with the bathroom such as broken lock of the bathroom door. View was also cool at the restaurant. Breakfast was also good meal for suitable price. Overall the night I spent there was perfect.

It could have done with a little facelift but overall excellent value.

We arrived tired and the manager of the hotel says to us, we'll upgrade you for no extra cost. We were given what we believe to be one of the best rooms with an amazing view over the nearby forest. Spectacular! We ordered breakfast and it was a breakfast fit for a king and queen; fruit, omelette, toast and jam plus a pot of coffee. Superb! More than enough. They'd even check in if we wanted more toast & coffee. The dining area floor was very nice too. Partly open so you could enjoy the views. Sooo loved that the shower had screen doors and the bathroom remained dry compared to most other hotels. Yay! The aircon didn't work but it wasnt actually required as the fan was more than efficient, as well as the door opened out onto a balcony. It was only about a15min walk down to Kandy Lake. The staff went over and beyond to ensure our stay was comfortable and that we were happy. Highly recommend.
