Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):

The place is very near to the beach and points of interest in terms of food, shopping and surfing schools. The host is very friendly and helped us out in various ways. The kitchen could be used for free and he even provided us a own fridge. The room was super nice, felt very cozy and had enough room for 2 people. Many small details around the property which resonate the feeling of "home". The dog on the property took care of us and followed us to the small shops and was protecting us from other street dogs. Luska is a sweetheart. Definitly worth a visit!

AustriaLocation is perfect in a calm sideroad to walk around in Weligama. Weligama is a good point to start your experience in Sri Lanka. House and rooms are lovely decorated. The kitchen can be used if needed. The hosts are always available, very kind and help you with everything you need. And speak English well. It was a wonderful stay and will definitely come back.

The host was absolutely welcoming and friendly. Baty did everything he could to make me feel comfortable and helped me with every question I had. The room was big and clean, the location super close to the beach and I liked that it was quiet and cosy. Thank you so much for your kindness Baty, I would come back!!!

Has a nice garden and a shared fully equipped kitchen. Rooms are spacious and clean. The wifi is great and the staff is very friendly and helpful. I really enjoyed my stay here!

the manager guy was really nice, he let us keep our bags there before check in. communal area is very nice. room was decorated nicely and not to far away from the surfing places and hang time hostel.

United StatesTheir aircon kept turning off in the night, I’d wake up hot and sweaty and unable to fall back asleep as the room took some time to cool off again, after the second night of this I told the stay and they flipped the breaker a couple times and said it wouldn’t happen again. Told me to try it out one more night. When it happened again, after three nights of not sleeping I told them I would rather leave and get a refund, Bathi said “no” and started arguing with me and telling me they needed proof so once again I had to stay one more night. This is my vacation, and not sleeping for the fourth night wasn’t an option for me. After arguing with me for an hr, and being really difficult to deal with, and ignoring me while I spoke to them directly. They finally offered to switch me rooms, at this point why would I want to stay with you? Sorry, but too little too late. I had to wait at the property for four hours and many conversations with booking later before they agreed to a refund, but they couldn’t give it to me for a few days so I finally left with nothing but hope that I would get the cash back. The room also had ants everywhere, I pointed this out the first day and Bathi sprayed my room down with bug spray, so I couldn’t enter my room for a few hours. It didn’t solve the problem, they were all over my toothbrush, my mouth guard, in my bed and on my iPad while I tried to watch it in the evening. I also put my food in the fridge downstairs per their instructions and then they ate some of my food. The dog on the property will also bark for a while during the night.

RussiaThere are mosquitoes in the garden and in your room if you are not careful enough and do not close the door, but mosquitoes everywhere, so you should know that and buy anti-mosquitoes spray. The triple room with no a/c is small and good only if you intend to be there for one night. Otherwise its better to book other rooms - its bigger and more comfortable.
The host is very friendly and helpful. There is a cute garden and table outside, so you can chill there sometime. There is a kitchen, but we didn't use it. Very near to the ocean and restaurants. Calm and quite at the night.
