Unfortunately our stay was not as enjoyable as we hoped for. In the room the biggest issue was the air conditioning unit seems like got loose and makes all kinds of noise during the night. The water preassure was very poor. Our biggest dissapointment was on our last night when we got back to the hotel at 7.50 pm, wanting to have dinner, and the staff told us that dinner was over. Taken that we were never told about mealtimes and everywhere we stayed the dinner did not even start before 7.30 pm this was very strange. So we ended up ordering takeaway online, which was fine, however i would highly suggest advising guests about opening hours and mealtimes in the future, as staying hungry in the top of the mountain is quite uncomfortable..

Nice hotel, on the top of the mountain, the staff ia nice and helpful, we ordered train tickets to the hotel for our our stay which they received and was waiting for us at arrival :)

Hotel has a problem with monkeys climbing on balconies and entering rooms, so doors have to remain closed. There are no lake views from the hotel, as mentioned in the description.

Staff were excellent and helped with everything. Food was good and plentiful. Good for a short stay in Kandy. Close to the city centre and attractions such as the botanical gardens and the temple of the tooth.

You need to count that to city centre you should take tuk-tuk but it is very cheap

We asked a room at a high floor and unfortunatly we got a room at a low floor (2nd floor) with a very limited view. I guess a room at the 5th floor would have been better with a greater view.

The room was big, comfortable, clean and with a big balcony. The breakfast was nice.

Bed was rather firm. Fair bit of noise from dogs in the neighbourhood at night.

It is a little far from the city centre. So, going to Kandy Lake is little difficult. However, if you spend some money, you can easily get Tuktuks.

The room was very spacious and well lit with natural light. That was my priority while booking the hotel. It met my expectations. The staff was very friendly and helpful.

I found very little to fault during my experience. While I thoroughly enjoyed my stay, I believe there is room for improvement in terms of the decor.

I was happy with the English breakfast the hotel provided during my stay. It had all the classic elements. The comfort of the room was exceptional, and the room was clean too. It's clear that the hotel takes great care in ensuring a pleasant experience for its guests. I couldn't have asked for a better stay.

The fan and AC were noisy so had to be turned off several times.

The staff were all very helpful and friendly and one of our rooms was upgraded. The rooms were very clean, spacious and as presented on the website. New batteries were supplied immediately when the safe didn’t work. Lovely fresh fluffy towels!
