As usual there were hidden cost such as vat. Customer should be encouraged by giving better price looking at today's economic scenario in the country.

Staff & food was fabulous. Front office should be more customer friendly in my view. Since we stay one day we could not see housekeeping however it looks better. Not a bad location for anyone.

Great staff, lovely food and a really nice room. The pool is good and the property was far enough from the main road for it to have little effect. Very convenient for visiting the astonishing ancient city. Very good value for money.

There was no hot water when I had a shower, but maybe it was my bad luck as my sister did not experience this issue. Anyway hot water is not necessary in 30+ degrees😄

Staff was super-friendly, we had an amazing dinner by the pool right after we enjoyed its comfort while we did birdwatching 😀 They prepared us lunchboxes as we had to leave early.

This comment is more about Anuradhapura, but there wasn't a whole lot nearby, and the hotel is slightly out of town.

We loved the pool, which offered welcome relief from the heat. The breakfast was a feast and the waiters were lovely. The rooms were spacious and clean.

There is some noise from the road, which is close by.

This is a very comfortable hotel with large rooms. We had room number 805, (top right in the photo). The hotel is set just off the road, not far from the all the major tourist points of interest. Our room was large with comfortable bed. It also has a good sized balcony, which unfortunately is in direct sunlight during the day, so not possible to sit out. Perfect morning and evening. There was no fridge in the room and one would have been much appreciated. WiFi is very poor in the room. The waiting staff were excellent, very friendly and always smiling. Great service. Food is all cooked fresh to order so can take quite some time, however it is worth waiting for, good quality and very reasonably priced. Nice large pool. Breakfast was excellent with "both" Western and Sri Lankan served, so you won't go hungry. In summary the hotel, like many we have stayed requires some maintenance and TLC, however we had a very enjoyable stay, accomodation and food great value.

Restaurant food took a very long time to serve, for both lunch and dinner. Dinner was served over an hour 15 mins later. Our server was very apologetic. Front desk could be a bit more welcoming and smiley 😊…just sayin.

We really loved the spacious room and bathroom! Lovely balcony view as well. Looked clean and very nice!! The open restaurant overlooking the pool and the rice fields was great. Restaurant food was delicious and the staff were very friendly. Very close to Anuradhapura.

The hot water stopped halfway through the night which was frustrating as two of us to shower. Also our room had a small hole and mark on the bed sheet and one towel.

Maintenance should be done in several parts of this hotel, inside the rooms but also in the common areas.

It has everything to be a real resort, just need a bit more effort in the managing. Rooms are spacious and with all the necessary, nice pool, good restaurant and an abundant breakfast.

The room description not accurate and no ceiling fans - the bath tap sticking out in shower served no purpose and got in the way

The pool had been chlorinated when we were in about 7 pm and caused the eyes to get sore. Also because of the religious environment there is no alcohol available with a meal or for a casual drink so BYO is you want some.

The facility was as shown in the profile and the room were very comfortable overlooking paddy fields. We chose the dinner and breakfast included option and both were great. The pool is a nice amenity and great to relax in of an evening.

Nothing - everything was very good. However, mosquitoes are present (as to be expected) so mosquito nets over the bed would be a nice addition.

No ceiling fan The included dinner option was boring. It was effectively fish and chips or Thai curry...would have preferred Sri Lankan foods. Beer was most expensive we had. But best in mind in comparison to UK still very cheap

Staff were amazing Room very large and spotlessly clean Plenty of hot water Pool was clean and like swimming in a lukewarm bath, it was lovely. Food was good quality and tasty. Safe in room Views were lovely out over rice fields with lots of different birds and wild life to see.

Toiletries were not upto standard and simple things like naming the article could have made the usage easier. They don't provide dental kits. Had to call room service multiple times to get things sorted. But have to appreciate the fact that they always attended to the matter immediately.
