It’s pretty much the best place we stayed in for the last week of travelling in Sri Lanka. You pay reasonable price, but you get the highest service! The place owner met us with fresh juice, cookies and fruits! And not only the people, but also our room itself was really good, cozy, and .. themed ! I don’t want to spoil the rest, but you will be pleasantly surprised!

Room did get a little hot but good fan above the bed

Easily one of the best homestays during our whole trip to Sri Lanka and definitely the best room. It was designed really uniquely and we loved it. Host is very friendly and helpful, also cooks good food in his restaurant! Easy to get to Ambuluwawa tower, and when we got back the most amazing breakfast was waiting for us.

The rooms are nicely designed, clean and comfortable. No air con but the fan above the bed worked well. The owner, Dulip, is a lovely person and great host. Him and his wife were very friendly. The food is also tasty. Dulip arranged a tuk tuk tour of Ambuluwawa Tower which was perfect as we were the first ones at the top of the tower when the gates opened at 7:45am.

This was a great place to stay, about 15/20mins to the Ambuluwawa tower via tuk tuk. The host was welcoming and able to help us with everything we needed. Including making me a special tea as I had a sore throat. The breakfast was incredible and delicious. The room didn’t have an aircon, however we didn’t feel we needed it as there was a fan.

It would really use AC, the room was soooo hot even when there was 22 degrees outside, the air just didn’t circulate. Also fridge would be awesome

Owner is a legend! We had check in at 10 pm, were hungry and he ordered a pizza for us. The next day he agreed with a tuk-tuk driver for the drive at the sunrise to Ambuluwawa tower. The room was clean and we had excellent sleep. Breakfast was perfect. Totally recommend.

We really loved our stay at La Pinchi😍, everything was great!! started from super nice, and helpful host, very stylish room( like a Bali style i would say 😊) with a private patio, and super delicious breakfast! Location is also perfect, only 15 min by tuk tuk from Ambuluwawa Tower. Highly recommended 👌👌👌

We stayed at Pinchi's last month and the owner was an excellent host, together with his wife and family ! My boyfriend was sick and he assisted us, even organised us to see a local doctor and brought us there ! Home cooked dinner and breakfast with a variety of choices ! The vegetable soup was exactly what we needed before bedtime !! Honestly thank you so much for being so kind with us and also checking on us throughout our trip and even when we got back home !! Ayubowan :)) P.S. really perfect location if you are planning to visit Ambuluwawa tower (like we did on the next morning).

This place is a sanctuary from the hustle and bustle of the city. So much thought has gone into making this such a special, funky guest house on the way to the tower. The food was delicious, try one of his Arrack Cocktails!

The property is owners own house and taken care by himself. The rooms are pretty clean with all the facilities required. The owner takes care of everything and he is available anytime you need any assistance. We were given welcome drinks, a nice breakfast with tea. The restaurant ambience was very chilling. Everything about this property gives you a feeling of being in nature and surrounded by nature.

Wonderful place! Every element of space was made by the owner in eco-friendly style. Very tasty products and an extremely huge breakfast and dinner. The owner included our vegan diet and prepared meals especially for us. Perfect location! The owner dropped us at the bus station too. He is really nice and friendly - It was was a pleasure to talk to him. There is no AC, but it's not a problem in the night - the fan is enough to sleep well. Bed is comfortable, room is clean and you have your own space outside to spend nice evening. We recommend the place.

What’s not to like about this place.. The owner was the most kind, caring and considerate gentleman we have met in Sri Lanka. Breakfast which was included was a feast in itself and even had tea and sandwiches in the afternoon which was a lovely gesture..The owners wife even washed our clothes for us for a very small fee for which we are grateful for. Owner arranged a tuk tuk for us to get up to the local tower.. everything is re and upcycled in the rooms and has a great outdoor covered patio area to sit in ..we would highly recommend and thank you so much for our 2 night quick stay
