Everything! This property is great and the owners couldn’t help you more. We did the Safari with them which was excellent too. 55 euro per person for a shared safari from 4am to 12pm which is half a day. We felt we didn’t want more than that and were very happy. Unfortunately no leopard but we did see a sloth bear and lots of other animals. If you come in hot season book an air conditioned room so you will be comfortable. The hot showers were nice too. We booked breakfast and the owners even gave us some food later in the day in lieu of breakfast on the day of the Safari as the Safari includes food. They will also pick you up from the bus stop and drop you off too. Great place to stay!

A very quiet environment. The staff of the hotel was very good. The rooms were very clean. We got a very amazing safari from them. On the way, two people boarded the bus and they told us many things about the safari. They also announced their prices to us. After that we gave them a number and got off the bus. We did not book a safari from them. But a couple who came with us on the bus had gone on safari with them. We met them today. They are not impressed with their safari. They came back in a very short time but they told us that no justice has been done to them for the money taken. It was not the safari driver who boarded the bus. They keep some commission and give safaris to jeep drivers and are only middlemen. Don't get caught by such people. If you want to go on safari, trust the hotel like us.

We really enjoyed staying at the la safari in tissamaharama .the room is big and clean . Comfortable beds.we are done the safari with them.very good driver and comfortable new jeep.we saw lot of animals in the yala national park. Exellent stay.

Best place to stay Tissa. Nice and clean room . Helpful staff. Best safari tour organized. Good experience driver with nice jeep. We spend yala all the day and we saw lot of animals including leopard . We reccomended for any others.

Everything was Super

The host was clean and staff was wonderful . They arranged us for the safari tour it was amazing and price was very reasonable .jeep and the driver is super . We see the lot of elephants and other animals including leopard. We are really luky to see the leopard . They pickup us in Ella and next day after the safari they dropped us to Arugambay. Nice car and good driver with cheapest price. We are very happy to stay here..

We stay one night here it was fantastic stay. Really nice staff. We get the dinner here super. In the night time garden was beautiful with lights. We booked the grate safari tour from them .we saw leopard ,Elephants and lot of animals . Driver was super he know the everywhere of the park . Very comfortable jeep. Next day we booked the taxi from them prices was cheapest.before booked the taxi we ask the town is was expensive .but here is reasonable prices. Thanks for all.

Very nice place to stay tissamaharama .clean room with bathroom . They have a good restaurant . Food was delicious. They offer the Safari tour very reasonable price. They have own jeep and driver was really nice. We saw lot of animals in Yala national park.also they offer the Taxi services very cheapest price. Reccomended for all.

We stopped here for one night. We think it was the best decision we ever made. They had a very good team. Everything we needed was here. We booked a safari tour and it was very good from them. We saw every animal. After the safari, we took a taxi for a very low price. Their driver took us very carefully and everything was fine.

Because you are immersed in nature, just expect bugs and lizards Bit out of the way if you don’t have a vehicle(we already rented a Tuktuk then so this may be a concern for those who don’t have transport sorted)

We booked the day before and a morning safari was very easily arranged for a very good price. The driver was very experienced and we were lucky to see a leopard. The seating area of the house itself was very spacious with deer in the backyard. Great value for price and great customer service.

We went there because of the tours reviews and it didn't disappointed us. The family that owns the place was really nice and helpful. They organised us the tour and we were the first to get into the park. Our tour guide, do not remember his name, but he went far and beyond showing us Yala National Park. Definitely the spot to stay when visiting Yala

Nothing only good memories about this amazing place

Wow! This guesthouse exceeded all our expectations. From the seamless check-in process to its prime location, everything was top-notch. The safari tour they organized to Yalla Park was the highlight of our trip, allowing us to see the park's main animals up close. The rooms, while simple, were impeccably clean and equipped with everything we needed, including hot showers and air conditioning. The lush green surroundings showcased the care and attention to detail put into beautifying the property. We opted for take-away dinner one evening and found ourselves so comfortable and content that we didn't want to leave. Highly recommend these guys for an unforgettable stay!

Great place to stay for Yala safari, they organised it all for us which was great. Bit of a language barrier sometimes so communication was a bit difficult but the staff are all very friendly and willing to help! Rooms are basic but comfy and very spacious, good shower pressure with hot water. Only thing is there's no AC, only a fan so the room is pretty warm. The safari was really good, just be prepared for an uncomfortable crazy drive first thing in the morning! We were offered dinner on the first night (which was lovely!) and then when we paid our bill we were being charged for it (which I did expect but we had no idea whether we'd be paying or not) and also the ice cream that was bought out without us asking for it which we felt was a bit misleading as no mention of cost beforehand but the staff were very hospitable and friendly. Overall good for a one night stay with stress free booking for the safari.

So clean and with a beautiful garden with 2 large veranda’s to eat, talk, play games. And there is also a restaurant so you don’t have to go away for food, nice staff and a good base to do an safari. Wake up early!

Super convenient for a safari in Yala National Park. Our driver Saje was amazing and we had an amazing time plus the 4x4 was in a top condition. Good communication on Whatsapp with the hosts. Really nice people. The room was comfortable.

Very good rooms and comfortable beds. The food in the restaurant is very delicious. The staff are very nice. The garden has been newly made beautiful. They arranged a safari for us. We spent a beautiful day at Yala National Park. We were lucky to see three leopards. We were given a great driver and a comfortable jeep. If you are going for a safari, I recommend this place. After the safari they took us to our next destination for a very reasonable price and provided us with a very comfortable taxi. Thank you very much for everything.
