The internet is hit and miss. But I think that's common for the area. The room, while spacious and cozy, does have some basic problems. But maintenance issues are solved immediately. Love this place and the staff!

Best value for money around. Location is a stone's throw from the beach. The free breakfast delivers - same every day but great (fruit, omelet, hot dog, juice, etc.). The staff is exceptionally kind and trustworthy. We booked 2 trips in the area through them and they are more than happy to accommodate. Aside from one of our four nights, we ate dinner here each night . And it was lovely. The hot shrimp, chicken rice, and cheesy macaroni are all strong recommends. And comparably speaking, the prices are well within reason!

The bathroom curtain needs to replace.

It's the biggest room we had throughout our stay with seaview and balcony. Only walking distance to the beach and lots of restaurant nearby.

Shame that there is so much rubbish on the way to the beach.Maybe organising/ suggesting a cleaning spree with the 2 restaurants and art Atellier s on the way to the beach would benefit the little community..

There was mosquitoes biting whole night. Cockroach was moving in room. No intercom phone, no lift. Little service.

The drain in the bathroom was clogged, sheets were clean but visibility old and the pool was out of service while I was there.

The staff were very nice and helpful. The location was next to the beach. It was off season so there weren't many guests and everyone was attentive and made my first meal in Sri Lanka a delicious one! The best part about this place was actually Elvis, my airport driver they hired. He picked me up from the airport and met me the next day to go over an 8 day trip to see Sri Lanka. He is a 10+ driver and his recommendations were custom to my needs. He absolutely made my trip the best! Highly recommend contact Elvis at +94 00 960 1560.

No restaurant or rooftop bar is open, but the manager very kindly got us a drink. We rented a room with a balcony, but it's too narrow to use, and it faces a wall. The room is too dark for my liking. It would be more honest to mention that the balcony is only a decoration, facing a wall, not to be used.

Comfortable room, clean. Lovely patio at the back of the hotel to watch the sun set, not quite on the beach, but view on the beach from the patio. Good location on the main road, with restaurants and supermarkets around. Quiet. Nice sofa to sit on. Very friendly and professional manager.

May be noisy if you have room facing to terrace and somebody is talking there.

It is a small quiet place, I had a room with ocean view on the first floor and it was very nice; for the price paid I couldn’t ask for more (nice bathroom, air-con, a fridge, a balcony, I could see the ocean lying in bed ). There is an entrance to the beach directly from the hotel, just between small houses of local residents. 3 min walk to the left is the best and the cleanest part of Negombo beach. The manager was very nice and helpful. They accept card payments. We only stayed for two nights but I recommend the place as a nice stop after or before the flight.

Location is a bit far from Colombo, and there are no local buses to reach the hostel. There are no plugs next to the beds. Cleaning could be better.

near tourist police station so was easy for tuk-tuk’s guidance and when looking for the hotel in the dark as Maps.me doesn’t show this hotel. had power generator to provide electricity when it was evening outage

i booked a bed in a dorm room for 4 people. staff was in touch via messages and on WhatsApp with prompt helpful responses.
