Space, location.

Thank you all for making my stay memorable. I will never forget the beautiful sunrise in 6.15am and first swim the same time. Ruben was the day star and the best helper, also the lifeguard. My only advise to the hotel - more attention to the environment, surroundings and cleanliness of the whole beach not the hotel part. Spa is another little gem of the complex. The food and the chef with all the staff were amazing. Great place to feel happy.

Really nice hotel. Rooms, food, staff all really good. Meeting room facilities also good. There are other nice resorts within walking distance. So would definitely stay again but we could also look at others within close proximity.

Ambiance in restaurant in the evening could be improved with lower lighting.

Everything, the hotel is beautiful. Pool and beach side by side, had beach to ourselves most days but best thing about Maalu Maalu is the staff. We took our 19 month old daughter and honestly they couldn’t have done more for us, unfortunately I didn’t get all there names but everything staff member was extremely helpful and friendly and I couldn’t recommend this place enough.

The pool closing at 8pm is a bit early. I know this is a fault/ agreement of every resort on the beach, but it's uncomfortable seeing the local residents confined to one small space while the rest of the beach is more or less empty aside from 20 white people,

Friendly staff as always in Sri Lanka. Breakfast and dinner buffet have a wide range of food which is all fine. The bar/ restaurant by the beach serves great food and drinks and is better quality than the buffet. The pool is terrific, really great swimming in there with a view of the ocean ahead.

What a plaxe the Maledives are in no way more beauriful Pasikuda is a calm tropical beach come true! The ocean is perfect, the beach so white and quite ....... The design of the hotel is exquisite only a couple of sun chairs on the beacht lots of space for white sand makes the views from the very large swimming pool just lovely. The food was of very high qualitiy and the team so friendly :) We will come back, oh and di I mention the SPA extremely relaxing very good Ayurveda treatments fair prices and a very helpful Ayurvedic Dr. our son had some stomach problems and they where really helpful and even gave us some Ayurvedic medicine, THANK YOU!!!! It wouldn’t take much to make this place really good. The setting could not be any more beautiful but a bit of attention to making the rooms feel a bit more special would help. Food and service times need a bit of thought. The staff are wonderful however.

It is a beautiful hotel in a stunning location on the east coast. The beach is lovely and clean and the sea is calm and very safe for swimming in July/ august time which is the opposite of the south which is only calm in December/ January. The staff are delightful but the service can be quite slow. The food was very good down at the beach at the seafood shack. There is also a buffet and a la carte too. We didn’t eat from the buffet as really don’t like that type of dining experience. The rooms are clean and comfortable and work really well for families. This isn’t a luxury resort however so don’t expect it to be. It’s a relaxed, barefoot resort with a very chilled feel. I would definitely recommended it and also the east coast. The location, the beach, sea and pool are what makes it so special.

Resort was pretty boring. Not much to do here beyond go in the pool and sea, and certainly not the prettiest part of the coast. Ok for a stopover but I wouldn’t want to linger.
